novembre 1917 – Très forte canonnade de notre artillerie, déclenchée brus­quement au cours de la nuit, à 2 h 1/4 et qui se termine à 2 h 3/4. Quelques sifflements, comme riposte.

Nous apprenons, par le communiqué du soir, qu’il s’agissait d’un coup de main, au nord-est de Reims.

A New Jonchery Lake Record at 59lb

A new Jonchery lake record! 59lb 8oz of pristine common carp, caught from swim 1.

It formed part of a 45 fish catch between 3 anglers with 8 well over 40lb.

More information on the lake - Jonchery is a stunning 30 acre lake set in the heart of the Champagne region, created and run by the prominent fish farming Bachelier family.  This lake has a great reputation, stretching back many years, for offering superb carp fishing holidays.

The 6 large double swims give you loads of options on where and how to fish – you’ll never be short of water.  Action is usually prolific too thanks to its stock of around 350 big and healthy mirrors and commons.
