Prompts: 10. “I think I’m in love with you and I’m terrified.” And 42. “It’s midnight, where the hell were you?” I think I changed the exact wording but they still mean the same thing.

Furiously making-out with Archie Andrews in the back of his truck was any girls dream. The feeling taking off each other’s clothes and being each other’s dirty little secret was a fever dream fantasy. Parking outside Pops on a cold winters night, lead to you two warming each other up.
“Archie, are-are you sure about this?” You could barely see anything, the only light the two of you had was from the diners neon sign. Being caught seem like a fate worse then death.
Archie, the perfect Northside boy, and you, a Southside princess, weren’t meant to be together. Logically you were completely opposite but when you dive deeper, into the real things you look for in a person, you two were perfect. You both knew your friends would accept your relationship just like you accepted theirs.
“Yes, oh god yes.” Archie couldn’t control himself. After a few months of dating and you pushing him away and him fighting for you back, you had finally gotten intimate. He was treating you like royalty, you were more important to him then anyone else right then.
There was one problem about you two announcing your relationship. Jughead Jones, your twin brother. He was Archie’s best friend in the whole world, aside from you of course. But in private Jughead talked about all the girls Archie talked about and how he was a nice person but a relationship with him wouldn’t be a good idea for anyone. Funnily enough that stopped when you two got together.
But the way he talked about Archie made you two cautious. Three rules, no daytime dates, no extra communication outside of dates and friends and no letting Jughead find out. Three pretty easy sounding rules, right? No, Archie couldn’t help himself but sneak kisses in between classes and he would try to invite you to Pops after school but you always catch him.
“Archie, Archie, stop.” You sat up. He was kissing your neck and was about to go to undo your bra.
“What? Did I do something?” He sat up, on his knees. He looked worried which was weird because he was very worried and very shirtless at the same time.
“No, god no, Archie. It’s just,” you took a deep breath. “I think I’m in love with you and I’m so, so scared.”
He almost tackled you in a hug. “That’s amazing! I thought you were going to break up with me!”
“But why are so scared?” He let go of the hug but still had a hold on your shoulders. He was searching your eyes to see if he could figure out what you were going to say before you even get a chance to say anything.
“I don’t know, I’m just really, really scared. About Jughead, the future, everything.”
“Hey, it’s okay.” He engulfed you in a hug.
“I think I’ve got to go home.”
“I’ll drive you.”
The two of you sat in silence while he drove you back over the the other side of town. It was a strange a silence, it wasn’t awkward but it wasn’t comfortable either. Maybe it was tense silence because of the fear that Jughead will see Archie’s truck. But the thing about fear is you will truely never know what happens until you push yourself past your boundaries and just do it. And that was what you two were doing.
Archie pulled up outside of your scummy trailer. You both sat in your seats for a minute, not wanting to leave each other but also knowing you had to get back before Jughead woke up.
“Love you.” You leaned over and gave him a quick kiss before pulling back and getting out the car.
“Love you.” You closed your door lightly and watched as he slowly drove out of Sunny-side and back to his American dream home.
You turned to your small trailer. You knew your dad, FP, was out at the Whyte Worm all night. That meant the only problem about entering the filthy piece of tin was your brother.
If Jughead was awake you were dead. He wouldn’t let this go for a long time, that would be torturous. He could also be asleep. Sleeping away like a baby and having no clue that you’ve been gone for a good two hours, that could be what was happening and you were just overreacting.
You grabbed ahold of the freezing metal door handle. Fear still bouncing around in your body, you opened the front door.
Jughead was sadly awake. His head shot you, you the terrified twin.
“Oh hello, how was your night?” He was obviously angry. He was so angry that the anger taken over, this wasn’t your usually emo brother anymore.
“Jughead, wait ‘til morning to argue. You’re too angry right now.” You were tried, it had been a long day and fighting with Jughead while he was on a anger high was not what you wanted to do right now.
“No. My sister was out in the night and I am just nothing. Well, it’s past midnight, where the hell were you?” He had stood up and walked over to you. He was towering over you, it was scary for you even though you knew he would never even think of laying a hand on you.
“I was just out. You do it all the time. I’ve seen you with Betty.” You looked up at him, slight fear in your eyes still. He backed away with his arms still crossed over his chest.
“Don’t you bring her into this. This is about you and wherever in gods name you’ve been.” A notification sounded from your pocket. Jughead looked at you, then at your pocket then back at you.
You slowly drew the phone out of your pocket while staring intensely at Jughead who was doing the same as you. You clicked your phone on but before you even had the chance to see who had sent you a message, the phone was snatched out of your hands.
Jughead, using his ridiculously long arms, held the phone up in the air out of your reach, you were yelling for him to give back your precious baby of a phone. He ignored you and read the message on the screen out loud.
“Hey Babe, you left your shoes in the truck. Outside with them.” Jughead looked at you with such pure confusion. It was almost the exact face he had make when he found out Luke and Leia were siblings.
He rushed outside with your phone still in his hand. You quickly ran after him. Outside was Archie, leaning coolly on the hood of his truck. He turned his head when heard heard yelling.
“Archie, What is wrong with you?! What are you doing with you sister.” Archie didn’t look like a deer in the head lights, he was the deer. All he wanted to do was return a pair of shoes to a girl and now he was stuck in this situation.
“Dude, calm down.”
“Don’t tell me to calm down.” Jughead did something he was doing to regret for a very long time.
Jughead had swung a punch right for Archie jaw, and it was a perfect hit. Archie, being the fighter he was, swung a punch back at Jughead. Soon a whole fight had start while you were on side yelling for them to stop.
Going near them and pushing them apart wasn’t a good idea, they might accidentally hurt you. As if god was listening to your prayers, someone older, wiser and stronger stepped into stop the two young boys.
“Oi, what do you two think you’re doing?” FP had arrived home from the Whyte Worm early tonight.
With blood dripping from his cheek, Jughead spills the beans. “They’re dating, Archie and (Y/N) are dating.”
FP looked at you, you were red from embarrassment. Then he looked at Archie who was still angry but he had the pain of the bruises that were forming to stop him from continuing. Finally he looked at Jughead who had a bit of blood on his face.
“Well, Archie’s a good Boy. He’s son of the nicest boy them all, Jug. That, that’s what I call overreacting at its finest.” He went from talking to Jughead to squeezing Archie into a ginormous hug.
“Welcome to the family, boy.”
“Sir, that really hurts.” Archie tried hugging back but his arms were sore from throwing punches and his body was sore from receiving them.
“Sorry, bud.” He let go of the red haired boy and turned to you. “(Y/N), we’ve got a first aid kit in the trailer, right? Maybe we should clean up these idiotic boys.” You nodded at your father, you lead the two boys into the trailer to be cleaned up.
“Looks like you’re stuck with each other boys.” You smiled as you sat them down on the ancient couch in the trailers main room.
“So, How long have you two been dating under my nose?” Jughead was smiling a bit while his eyes flashed between you and Archie.
“Three months.”
“Three months?!”
