🎀🧋💕moodboard for @jonginnation want one?
Thank you so much to @jonginnation ! I won their giveaway a while back and was finally able to get to the album after being out of state for a while (ty extra to my roommate for keeping it safe for me while I was gone).
Packaging was so cute and perfect! One of my new favs for my collection.
Do you know where I can find the soundtrack to Ming Dynasty. I just started watching it and the soundtrack is amazing!
Is any of this what you’re looking for?
I can’t find where you can download mp3 for free but it’s usually pretty simple to extract youtube videos to mp3 anyway - just google.

Ning yi is one of my absolute favorite cdrama characters. So is zhiwei. Chen kun did such an amazing job with this role and him and ni ni have such chemistry. I just ignored how the drama ended and had my own ending cause I love the first ¾ths of it so much.
Ning Yi and Feng Zhiwei are both great characters, whether they are together or apart. When they’re off doing their own thing, they’re both very smart and strong and resilient. And when they’re together, they’re so soft and romantic <3 Chen Kun and Ni Ni are really such great actors and I love how they brought these characters to life.
I’m only on episode 30, and I keep seeing sad comments about the end of this show and I am so worried! I think I’d be more sad about Zhiwei and Ning Yi falling out of love or betraying each other than if either one of them died. I don’t know if that’s an unpopular opinion. For now, I’m just going to...pretend that I shouldn’t be bracing myself for a heartbreaking ending!

So if they didn’t align any buildings to astronomical bodies, does that mean what we witness in modern times is just a coincidence? As opposed to being intentional? Where can we read about this?
Yes. Though I can guarantee you that many of the graphics you see “aligning”, say, the pyramids with certain planets/stars are also photoshopped. What did happen is that they built some temples etc. to be illuminated by the sun in a very dramatic display during summer/winter solstice. In the Old Kingdom, for example solar temples with high windows allowing in a lot of sunlight were a definite thing.
So solar alignment: yes. Stellar alignment: no, and certainly not before the Greeks/Ptolemies.
A good source on Egyptian temples that’s also appropriate for lay-people is The Complete Temples of Ancient Egypt by R. H. Wilkinson.
kai in gold for @jonginnation ~
