Compatibility: Cowpokes are generally pretty calm bitties that tend to be very good with conflict resolution, as well as everyday tasks an owner may need help with. They're recommended for people with either a lot of other bitties, or just a few that are especially troublesome.
While Cowpokes tend to be forgetful, they're far from stupid. Though they're a little awkward, they tend to have a knack for deescalating scenarios and are often the "glue" that keeps a group of bitties together, whether they know it or not.
They can do well with or without others in the house, but tend to prefer having more people to talk to if an owner is out most of the day. If their needs aren't being met, they're likely to politely ask you for what they want instead of hiding it away, and are often very understanding when it comes to discussions about this sort of topic.
These bitties thrive in a very low judgement environment, especially if they have a group of friends who are similarly considered outcasts in other groups. They're very loyal to any companions they make, and as such, often come in bonded pairs or more, usually with other Mikes.
Cowpokes, like other Mike types, are known for their tendency to make a costume and act as an assistant to their owners, though they tend to forgo the "acting" part in favor of just being themselves in costume. They simply just like to dress up and act as "Mike" while doing things that they'd normally do anyways, just for the change of scenery.
Their costumes are usually handmade, but they're prone to making them the wrong size, resulting in them being uncomfortable while wearing them. It's recommended to help them out with measurements when needed, so that they don't end up overstimulated and unhappy. Though, usually, they'll just settle for a jacket and a hat that they like.
Feeding habits: Cowpokes tend to be a little picky with food, although they're often the ones helping with meals when they get the chance. It's good to talk to your bitty about any food sensitivity they may have, and know what to avoid when making meals.
