It took a while, shall we say, to get a new Free Jazz Libertines podcast on the books. Here we are with #12, featuring some great new stuff from MCKAIN / MURRAY/ RADICHEL / SUAREZ / WEEKS, along with heroes as diverse and wild as the Jooklo Quartet, John Coltrane and Max Roach.
It’s an hour of improvisation and near-improvisation and much loveliness, however you define the term. However, there’s an error in the back-announce - it’s TOM Weeks and KEVIN Murray, not the reverse-polarity trick I did with their names.
