Now that everything has calm down over here - we had like 30 guests for Purim, most of them were drunk, and one drunk guest locked himself up in the (only) bathroom for like an hour. It was a great Purim.

ANYWAY, now I can talk about HOW EXCITED I AM for Will’s visit, and also how EXTREMLY SURPRISED I am (don’t think I’m the only one). I’ve been daydreaming about such a tour, but I was sure it won’t happen in any near future. To be honest, I thought there will not be an official royal visit to Israel until an agreement is signed with the palestinians, and since our government is not doing so great on that front lmao I was sure it won’t happen.

On a totally selfish side - I’m so dissapointed Kate’s not coming, coz of course I would have LOVED to meet her. Because I don’t care what I’ll have to do - I’m going to see William, even if that requires me sleeping on the street for days or getting myself disguised as the PM.

On a logic side I completely understand why she’s not part of this tour. I can only hope that’s the first tour of many to come ;)

And on a very very hopeful note - I SO HOPE he’s going to visit the research institute I’m studying/working at - the Weizmann institute. If the visit is not highly ceremonial/political, It’s actually highly possible he will visit it - it’s one of the best in Israel.

And I also really hope he will understand the complexity of the situation, and the fact that there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ side. I hope he will be able to appreciate the amazing qualities of both sides.

Okay but it’s been almost 1 hour and I’m still in disbelief at how the groups worked out for Asian World Cup. Talk about worst case scenario for Aus, as always.
