So as one does, I was dozing off for a nap yesterday and I’m the kind of person that creates stories to fall asleep, right, so I’m doing that when my brain gives me the greatest idea ever and I started writing.

Anyways after committing time theft at my job and writing yesterday and a little so far today I’m 2,800 words in!! I wanted to share a paragraph I’m really happy with :)

I have no idea how long this is gonna be considering so far I’m maybe 75% through the first scene? And I think there’s gonna be at least four or five more scenes minimum so yeah, we’ll see how long it becomes lol

I am purposely being vague because I think it’s fun and also because the au itself feels silly but also if you wanna guess I’ll say yes or no

wanting to go through my tags and redo them or try to organize them better is great in theory but the idea of actually doing it kills me inside and mentally I am a pathetic little puddle

This may be petty or mean-spirited to say but I am genuinely really enjoying all the ways the people on Twitter are being proven wrong about their poorly hidden ableist takes on Mel. Already this show has made it clear that Mel is not the "pure", loveless, sexless being that so many people seemed to think her as, and I can't help but find enjoyment in that. I will not begrudge anyone of personal headcannons but when they veer into the "autistic people can't have normal relationships" category it's something I can't and won't stand for and I won't lie in finding satisfaction in seeing those be crushed.

Mel outright saying that she enjoyed being flirted with in tonight's episode was great and I love that she got excited over it!! (Even if he was a criminal!! Lol!!) And I hope that (even though I know it likely won't) it makes the people that think she is incapable of forming romantic relationships pause and reconsider their view on her as a character. Let Mel flirt. Let Mel be flirted with.

Hi so I did not mean to disappear off the face of the planet lol. Unfortunately life has been pretty crazy and I had to step away from Tumblr for a bit, but I would like to try to be more active here again!!

I also got right back into The Pitt once season 2 started and I'm up to date on all the episodes and I have :) lots of thoughts :) but in short Mel King will be reincarnated as a lotus flower and Frank Langdon deserves the world

okay update I went through my blog using the mass tag editor tumblr has and organized it. I added tags to 99% of the posts and deleted every single voltron post (I was a (typical) obnoxious 14 year old that reblogged so, so many voltron posts. sigh)

I did stop mid June of this year and I have July to get through and then I'll be done, I just didnt have the energy to finish after spending like two hours doing it today

It was kind of cool seeing the moments I was more active on tumblr then obviously forgot it existed then went back to it, but I was always a lurker that didnt tag anything until kingdon which did bite me in the ass

Small update on the fic I'm currently working on, I decided yesterday that I think it'd be better for me to make it into chapters than one big one shot. So that's the current plan, I don't know how many chapters it'll be but I'm almost done with the first :)

Also my bad for not being active here lmao, college + work + no sleep = tired jordan that doesn't have the energy to look at Tumblr for longer than five seconds
