Paradise Without Jorge :(
Week 5:
Hey friends! Welcome back to my blog the Bachelor Buzz! Today’s topic of discussion will be Jorge from Bachelor in Paradise seasons two through four.
Friend to all, relationship consultant, bartender, tour guide specialist, etc. You name it, Jorge does it. Jorge has been a huge part of Bachelor in Paradise since the start. Jorge has the label ‘Bartender’, but he is so much more than this. Without Jorge lots of the relationships could have had the chance to slip through the cracks. And these relationships could have been important couples who got married. That means that without Jorge, the world may or may not have been the same and couples that have children could have been nonexistent.
Jorge is a man of few words, yet he is a major support to most contestants. Just this past season of the Bachelor in Paradise, Jorge actually got to plan his own date for the contestants called ‘Jorge’s Tourges.’ On this date, Jorge brought them to his favorite place growing up. He told them his backstory and the significance behind the secluded beach. Jorge even got the opportunity to stay on the date with the couples, which was even better for the viewers.
The big controversy with season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise is the pure fact that Jorge is leaving. He didn’t get fired or anything, he just needed to leave. Jorge is said to be leaving the show because he wants to ironically continue his tour business. Although Jorge will be dearly missed, the fans were very excited to see Wells as the replacement bartender.
Wells was a contestant from Jojo’s season of the Bachelorette. Wells made it a respectable amount of time on season 12 of the Bachelorette before he was booted around week 5 for his skeptical nature around the whole topic of love. Wells blossomed since his season of the bachelorette and was rumored to becoming the next Bachelor. Even though we know that this isn’t true, it is a good representation of his growth and gain in popularity. Wells was then asked to be on the Bachelor in Paradise where he now makes jokes about scallops and mocks people with puppets. He was even close to finding a love of his own while on paradise.
Wells met Danielle, a sweet girl who ended up leaving the show to help sick children in an impoverished country. Before she left, she and Wells kissed each other goodbye and now their status is unknown. Overall once Jorge left Wells ended up doing a great job in the character. Jorge may be gone doing his tours, but he will never be forgotten on this show. Jorge deserves to be happy and enjoy life. Luckily he doesn’t have to deal with other people’s love life problems anymore and can focus on his passion for his new career. The show will never be how it was with Jorge, but we do love Wells and he is doing a great job. All we can do is hope for the best and wish the best of luck to Jorge and his new ambitions.
