The Fledglings were treading the factory like a squadron of soldiers carefully navigating through enemy territory. Nathan and Yara walk from behind, facing back with Nathan's makeshift axe and Yara's bow and arrow at the ready, making no room for surprise attacks.
To their backs were Lyssa and Scott, only slightly behind Joseph who was at the lead. Joseph held the grabpack handles tight and Lyssa was right behind, ready to pull him back to give Scott space to block any attacks with his snow sled.
The harsh echo of the metal pipe halted their steps, as Nathan held up a hand to signal the others in front to stay put. Yara scanned the area, periwinkle eyes sharp with precision as she aimed her arrow to the source of the noise.

Just listened to 1322 report: Void again, and I just can't help but laugh. Joseph sounds so pathetic, like it was engineered to trigger some kind of maternal instinct in anyone that listens to him💀💀💀
I'm honestly convinced that canon Joseph was supposed to be 1322A, and only avoided that because of Jack. I mean, c'mon, the Doey reports tend to be formatted like 1322 report: (insert doey subject's full name here).
And the only tape Joseph shows up is in a report named 1322 report: void. Like he was supposed to be one of the subjects, but Jack's involvement made it no longer necessary.
This changes barely anything with Fledglings AU Joseph. After all, it's probably not uncommon to be listed as one of the candidates of an experiment multiple times, just to get a different candidate to be chosen.
