💉 DAY TWO: BLOOD

Are you washed in the blood? In the soul-cleansing blood of the Lamb? Are your garments spotless; are they white as snow? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

I don’t think anybody will ever understand my over-the-top love for the style of the 1950′s. From the beehives to the glorious pompadours, from babydolls to cushy petticoats that fluff the lovely dresses elegantly, even those picture-esque detective suits & the recognizable leather jacket outfits, y’know, the ones most familiarized from Grease? Love it. All of it~

& yes, that even includes those sometimes oddly stocky looking business suits. Everything about the ‘50′s style is just absolutely charming to me. That being said, it was hard mimicking it’s style with the lack of it’s style within the sims community but I scrounged up what I could & had fun fixing up the Doe’s in the end.

I heavily debated on what to do with them, as it was, I found them to be creepy af as is. Did I want to run with the surname & make them creepy fauna or perhaps run with something much more... explainable? In the end I chose the alternative... obviously, & made them a horrifying variant of Archangels. I found it ironic, almost poetic even, that I noticed after I’d chosen the family for the day 2 challenge that they have an angelic looking fae portrait on the wall of their second floor. 😏

I would like to introduce you to the Doe family from Midnight Hollow - Joseph Doe, son of John and Jane with his wife Maggie Doe (Flynn) and sons - the older one - Noah and the younger one - Nathan. It is with them that we will run the legacy in Hidden Springs. Stay tuned!

Highlights Pt.2

The Alto’s expand their rental property empire- saving a lot of the residents who were slipping further into debt. Living in Vendon isn’t cheap!

Joseph Doe does some late night fishing in the middle of nowhere.

Alice Weir meets with Olive Spencer because she was thinking about renting out a room to the struggling woman. Olive’s house was a TIP! By the end of the meeting, Alice decided not to rent the room. Olive sold her car for some extra money.

They stared at each other all googley-eyed for a bit before Joseph’s teen mind short-circuited and he went for the shaka bra.

I got a notification that the mayor/primeminister’s son, Joseph Doe, started dating Julie Taylor.

They met up at the train station next to the Palace of Eastminister and stood apart awkwardly for a while before it was safe enough to do some flirting.
