В конце концов, чародеям удалось создать заклинание, потенциально способное одним махом “излечить” вампиров всего мира. Владу, конечно же, никто из его контактов об этом не сообщил. Да и оттягивать чародеи не стали - сразу же заклинанием воспользовались. К сожалению, оно не только не сработало, а более того привело к разрыву материи Волшебного Мира, временно ослабив тем самым чародеев. Вампиры задумали воспользоваться моментом и истребить лунных заклинателей - оборотней, которые остались в этот момент без магии вообще.

Влад не мог допустить расправы над своими союзниками оборотнями, ведь к тому времени, уже слишком сильно погряз во всех этих тайных заговорах. Кармилла поняла, что все это время предателем был именное ее муж. Во время завязавшейся драки Влад с помощью Данте смог уничтожить всех вампиров Форготн в том числе своего внука Клауса и жену. Так Форготн и стал Форготн Холлоу.

Очнувшись от того безумия, что совершил, Влад обнаружил, что его глаза стали красными.

Опасаясь мести предводителя вампиров (Императора), он срочно отправил Данте подальше в мир обычных персонажей, а сам заперся в особняке и стал ждать последствий своего необдуманного поступка. Но шли дни, недели, а ничего не происходило.

In the end, the spellcasters managed to create a spell that could potentially "heal" the vampires of the whole world in one fell swoop. Of course, none of Vlad's contacts warned him about this. And the spellcasters did not wait - they immediately used the spell. Unfortunately, not only did it not work, but even more - it led to a rupture of the matter of the Magical World, thereby temporarily weakening all the magic users. The vampires decided to take advantage of the moment and eliminate the mooncasters - the werewolves, who were left with no magic at all.

Vlad could not allow the massacre of his allies. By that moment he was already too much mired in all these secret conspiracies. Carmilla realized that all this time her husband had been the traitor. During the ensuing fight, Vlad managed to overpower all the Forgotten vampires, including his wife and their grandson Klaus. Thus Forgotten became Forgotten Hollow.

After coming to his senses from the madness that he had committed, Vlad discovered that his eyes had turned red.

Fearing the revenge of the vampire leader (the Emperor), he urgently sent Dante away to the world of ordinary sims, locked himself in the mansion, and began to wait for the consequences of his rash acting. But days and weeks passed, and nothing was happening.

Конечно же Влад, как и Кармилла, изначально ненавидел чародеев всеми фибрами того места в его теле, где должна бы быть душа. Но проживя столько лет вдали от волшебного мира, и лишь изредка сталкиваясь с его представителя, ненависть как-то поулеглась, притупилась. Больше не жгло в груди от воспоминаний о том, как он был создан и что пришлось сделать, чтобы освободиться. Погрузившись в создание семьи и обустройство вампирского поселения в Форготн, Влад со временем осознал и принял тот факт, что без чародеев не было бы и их - вампиров, а в отличие от своих создателей, вампиры не ограничены сроками короткой жизни, поэтому смысла что-то кому-то доказывать вообще нет.

It no longer burned in his chest from the memories of how he was created and what he had to do to become free. Immersed in the family support and the arrangement of a vampire settlement in Forgotten, Vlad eventually realized and accepted the fact that there would not have been them - vampires, if not for spellcasters, and unlike their creators, vampires were not limited by the terms of a short life, so there was no sense in proving anything to anyone at all.

Когда после рождения внуков Влада, близнецов Данте и Клауда, оказалось, что лишь один из них унаследовал “дар”, а второй всего лишь полукровка - дампир, силы которого сильно ограничены, Кармилла с другими вампирами, под угрозой жизни возлюбленной и детей, заставили Йозефа отказаться от магии и обратили его.

But the calm before the storm was short-lived. When, after the birth of Vlad’s grandchildren - the twins Dante and Cloud, it turned out that only one of them inherited the “gift”, and the second was only a half-breed - a dhampir, whose strength was very limited, Carmilla and other vampires, under the threat to his lover and children's life, forced Josef to give up magic and turned him.

Видя, как несчастна его дочь, Влад решается и начинает поиск лекарства от вампиризма. Естественно в тайне от своей жены. Пообщавшись с Йозефом, чего он раньше старался избегать, Влад узнает, что чародеи вообще-то заняты тем же самым - хотят найти способ избавления от проклятья, но увы, их усилия пока не принесли результатов. Влад понимал, что шансы найти способ излечения вампиров возрастут многократно, если он объеденится с чародеями. Но как с ними связаться? Не стучаться же в двери Магической Академии?

Клаус, внук Влада, на тот момент подросток, находился под довольно сильным влиянием Кармиллы и был просто таки маниакально одержим участием в операции Вечное Пламя. В какой-то момент он начал серьезно подозревать в ранее упомятом предательстве своих же родителей. Его отец, бывший чародей, никогда не скрывал своего нежелания быть вампиром, а мать, и так медленно угасавшая, тратя все силы на поддержание своего, отказывающегося пить кровь других симов мужа, часто ругалась с Кармиллой и обвиняла ее в своем несчастье.

Медленно но верно рассудок Клауса, вечно находившегося меж двух огней, помутился настолько, что в своем желании докопаться до правды, он запер своих родителей в клетке на крыше особняка, предварительно временно лишив их вампирских сил с помощью зелья (где он его взял история умалчивает) перед самым рассветом, уверенный, что таким образом заставит их признаться. Но не рассчитал время и, увлекшись допросом, не заметил, что солнце восходит. Когда тень от гор перестала защищать клетку от солнца, он попытался открыть дверь и освободить родителей, но чуть не загорелся сам и поспешил скрыться с крыши.

Влад, увлеченный своим сотрудничеством с лунными чародеями, предпринять никаких действий в отношении безумного внука не успел - дальнейшие события начали закручиваться как водоворот.

Klaus, the grandson of Vlad, still a teenager, was under the strong influence of Carmilla and was maniacally obsessed with participating in the Eternal Flame operation. At some point, he began to seriously suspect his own parents of the mentioned earlier betrayal. His father, a former sorcerer, never hid his unwillingness to be a vampire, and his mother, already slowly fading away, was spending all her strength on supporting her husband, who refused to drink the blood of other sims. She often fought with Carmilla and blamed her for the misfortune she suffered.

Slowly but surely, the mind of Klaus, who was always between two fires, became so confused that in his desire to get to the bottom of the truth, he locked his parents in a cage on the roof of the mansion, having previously temporarily deprived them of their vampire powers with the help of a potion (where he got it, unknown). It was just before dawn, being sure that he would force them to confess, he was not following the time and got carried away by the interrogation. Klaus did not notice that the sun was rising. When the shadow from the mountains stopped protecting the cage from the sun, he tried to open the door and free his parents but almost caught fire himself and hurried to leave the roof.

Vlad occupied with his work with the mooncasters, did not have time to take any action against the insane grandson - the following events began to spin like a whirlpool.

После превращения в холодное бессмертное существо отношения между Сесилией и Йозефом разладились. Супруг не мог смириться со своей новой сущностью и тем что для поддержания жизни он должен пить кровь других симов. Он стал отказываться от еды. Сесилия как могла поддерживала мужа, даже кормила упрямца своей кровью, но долго так продолжаться конечно же не могло. Медленно, но верно, угасали они оба.

After turning into a cold immortal being, the connection between Cecilia and Josef became frail. The husband could not come to terms with his new nature and the fact that to maintain his life, he must drink the blood of other Sims. He began to refuse food. Cecilia supported her husband as much as she could, even fed the stubborn man with her blood, but of course, this could not go on for a long time. Slowly but surely, they both were fading away.

Минуло несколько десятков лет с того вечера, как Влад узнал тайну своей супруги. С тех пор никаких значимых переворотов в мире не произошло. Казалось, вампиры забыли о своих темных планах или просто затаились и выжидают. Но чего - не понятно, уж слишком ожидание затянулось. Отношения Кармиллы и Влада окончательно расстроились. Он больше не чувствовал себя ни хозяином дома, который он возвел буквально на своих плоти и крови, ни главой семьи, которую так хотел. Все решения принимались ислючительно супругой, и сам того не осознавая, Влад им не противился. Когда повзрослев, Сесилия, дочь Влада и Кармиллы, влюбилась в чародея и привела его домой, Влад понял, насколько он ошибался, считая, что ему нет дела до интриг Кармиллы и остальных вампиров. Сумасшествие, буквально захватившее вампиров в их неукротимом стремлении превратить всех оставшихся чародеев в кровопийц, настигло и его семью.

Several decades have passed since that evening, when Vlad found out his wife's secret. Since then, no significant changes have occurred in the world. It seemed the vampires had forgotten about their dark plans or were laying low and waiting. But what for was not clear - the calm had been too long. Carmilla and Vlad's relationship was becoming more and more strained. He neither felt like the lord of the house any more, which he had built on his own flesh and blood literally, nor as the head of the family that he wanted to have so much. All decisions were made exclusively by his wife, and without realizing it, Vlad did not resist them. After having matured, Cecilia, the daughter of Vlad and Carmilla, fell in love with a spellcaster and brought him home. Vlad finally realized how wrong he was, believing he did not care about the intrigues of Carmilla and other vampires. The madness that literally had consumed the vampires in their indomitable desire to turn all the remaining spellcasters into bloodsuckers overtook his family as well.
