February 2012 at grand central in Manchester
Which Member did you Meet first and how did it go?:
I Met Nick first and it went awesome! I adored him straight away!
What was your first Fave song?:
“Freek”
Who was your first fave member?:
I think it was Nick. Though I don’t remember cos I jut loved them all.
Who was your first Crush from the band and how long did it last?:
I don’t actually remember o.0
Was there any members you were unsure of at first and did you grow to love them in the end?:
I was a little wary of higgs at first because he never seemed to speak to me no matter how much I tried and I thought he didn’t like me but I know now it’s because he was quite shy and quiet. Of course I grew to love him he’s adorable and we’re pretty good friends now ^_^
did any Members leave while you've been following them and were you sad or did it work out for the better?:
Jim left after the second time I saw them. I wasn’t that upset because I never really got to know him anyway and it DEFINITELY worked out better because they got josh as a replacement and I adored that little crazy kid since the very first moment I met him!
Did you know immediately that they would become one of your fave bands?:
There was not a doubt in my mind

It’s really difficult to choose because they’re all friends and I adore them all but the two I get on the absolute best with are Mike and Josh. We have so much fun when the three of us are together haha ^_^
Who is your Current Crush?:
I’m not telling you o.o it’s a secret and it shall stay that way for as long as I can keep it haha ;) though it’s probably obvious to most anyway >.<
Where have you travelled to see them?:
Manchester (x4) blyth, nantwich, crewe, preston, winsford, Carlisle (x2)
What show stood out the most and why?:
It’s difficult to just pick one because they’re always amazing! I remember the Preston show being particularly epic though!
What is the best venue they've played?:
Satan’s Hollow of course! (my fave venue in the world)
Tell a funny story / memory involving this band:
When I went to crewe to see them I got Josh a gingerbread skeleton. I went to hand it to him and like the child he is he grabbed it from me excitedly, yelled “VICTORY” then ran up and down the street holding it up in the air (he has issues lol)
Tell a sweet Story / memory involving this band:
Haha I remember after the winsford gig I was standing talking to josh and higgs and I just handed higgs a cigarette. He looked at the cigarette so happily then looked up at me sincerely and simply said “I love you!” it was an adorable moment haha
What was your fave moment between you & your current crush?:
Well I can’t tell you this can I >.< let’s just say it was a funny moment that lead to me accidently doing something that completely embarrassed myself lol >,<

Why should others listen to this band?:
Blue Origin are exceptional. There’s no other way to describe them. They are without a doubt one of the most talented and hard working bands I have ever met. Nick puts every little bit of himself into the lyrics and it’s evident by the feeling he pours into every single note of every single song. Unlike most bands where one member stands out as being slightly more incredible than the rest, it seems that blue origin are all equally matched and are all not far off musical prodigies. The drums are flawless, the bass lines are incredible and the guitars will blow you away with some of the best and most beautiful solos I’ve ever heard. They are without a doubt something special, and this of course is backed up with their INCREDIBLE stage show which is always bursting with energy. They seem to have a connection with every crowd and they play to wether a crowded room or 10 people they always put every little bit of energy into their performance. Without a doubt they are something special and a band to watch!
What do you think people can take from their lyrics?:
Their lyrics are very deep and personal. They range from lyrics about battling depression (“sick” and “take your pills”) suffering for your art (“junke”) a rather unique way of describing the feelings connected with falling in love (“make me” and everything in between.
Give a inspirational lyric from this band?:
“we’re all just Freeks inside”

Start off with “take your pills” not only is this a hard hitting perfect introduction to the band but the video, directed by Nick and his business partner at “cinerobota” is absolutely outstanding.
