RIP Let It Roll
Let It Roll was the localist of skateshops to open in Las Vegas, Tim Lay (1st Owner) has been in the Vegas Skate Scene for some time now and Opened let it roll skate shop on Durango and Spring Mountain in 2011.
Let it roll brought a huge collection of different varieties of skateboard companies, skateboarding styles and welcome them all in the shop. Let it roll threw loads of events at there shop to bring the skate scene and even customers all together, they Created a excellent team with some of Vegas's heavy hitters and had a great fun vibe and outlook on skateboarding. Let it roll showed what it really meant to be a skater and having fun doing it was all about, shredding!
In 2014 Let it Roll moved there shop from the southwest into The Art Factory im the Ary District of vegas. They are bringing the arts and skateboarding together, let it roll turned from skateboarding to a great place to showcase your art and abilities to make art, while skating and purchasing great product.
Tim Lay step down from Owner and handed to keys over to Josh Wheat and Matt Anderson, these 2 took let it roll and continue to build it as a growing company, throwing huge art/skateboarding events, bring in new fresh companies and continuing to give back to the community, but all good thing must End.
As of March 2016 Let it Roll closed it doors, will it ever reopen? We don't know, but we wish them luck with what ever there plans are, and if you got to hang out at the shop or just stop in to get a board, you felt the passion and pure love of skateboarding in Let It Roll. 🙌🏼

From Tim- On Friday night as I was getting to bed I saw the first Let It Roll posting in a month. With great sadness it would be there last one, at least for now, as they announce that they will be closing the doors. I threw on some clothes and jetted down there to hang with my friends, and enjoy the store that I built one last time. We didn't really talk about the bumming news, but we DID talk a lot about the everlasting friendships that were formed from all over the Las Vegas area and that the store was the catalyst for such greatness. Skateboarding is a tough game to make a buck in, and I know Josh and Matt tried their hardest to keep it alive when they took the drivers seat August 1st. The memories and friendships that were created within the walls, well....I hope those last forever! Thanks to ANYONE from around the universe that stepped into the store and supported it in any way. From the in store events, video premieres, art shows, Black Friday Sales, and any sale that I wanted to have....just cause I'm always down for a good time. And from the laughs to the real life talks, it became much than skateboarding, and thanks for being a part of it. Your presence and support was always appreciated and never taken for granted. I hope to continue to see many of our customers who turned into friends around here, there, and everywhere. 💚❤️. #letitroll
