A sigh of relief escaped past your lips as you watched the rest of the family drive off in their little red car. It had been a long Christmas vacation, to say the least. As much as you loved your family as well as Josh’s it got to be quite hectic when they all came together to spend the holidays at the house. You and Josh had more than enough room for everyone, but there always seemed to be too much commotion and not enough quiet time. You continued to stare out the window as you watched the little red car drive off into the distance. Snow was lightly falling from the sky and a warm cup of coffee rested between your fingers. Josh slowly came up behind you, wrapping his strong arms around your waist and giving you a small peck on the cheek.
“What are ya thinking about, baby?” He asked you, his warm breath tickling your ear.
“Nothing. Just glad to finally have some peace and quiet.” You told him, turning around in his arms.
“Yeah, I know it can get kinda crazy here with everyone being pent up in the house.” You hummed in agreement wrapping your arms around him and raising up on your toes to give him a quick kiss.
“I missed spending time with just you.” He smiled down at you, tucking a stray strand of hair back behind your ear.
“I know.” He breathed out before hoisting you up. On instinct, you wrap your legs around his torso letting out a small yelp in surprise. “How about we go upstairs and make some holiday memories just the two of us?” Josh said, giving you a small smirk.
“I thought you’d never ask.” You giggled, a mischievous smirk in your eye. Josh gave you a wink before whisking you up the steps to your shared bedroom. He carefully opened the bedroom door before gently laying you down on the large bed. In a matter of seconds he was hovering over you showering you in sweet kisses. Before you knew it both of your clothes were in a pile on the floor as Josh worshiped your body. Starting at your soft tender lips and working his way down to your sweet pussy, he left open-mouthed kisses on every inch of skin.
“Josh…” you murmured trying to push his head toward the place you needed him most.
“Relax baby, I’ll get there soon enough.” He mumbled as he kissed the inside of your thighs. Not long after you felt him gently lick over your most sensitive area. You let out a loud moan of approval which spurred him on. Before you knew it you were coating him in your juices. As he came up for air he gave you a passionate kiss as you tasted yourself on his tongue. “My favorite dessert,” he murmured “even better than moms Christmas cookies.” He said smiling as you let out a small chuckle.
“And I’m sure you taste even better.” You tell him gently squeezing his biceps.
“No baby. Not today. You have been amazing this week. Putting up with my crazy family.”
“Our crazy family.” You interrupt him. He rolls his eyes playfully.
“Whatever, you have done so much for me and the family and this is my thank you to you.” He said before aligning his tip up with your center. You rolled your hips forward, just wanting him to be inside you already.
“Josh stop teas-oh!” You didn’t even need to finish your sentence before he was fully inside of you.
“What was that you were saying?” He smugly asks as you adjust to him filling you up. Tantalizing slowly he starts to rock his hips into yours as his arms cage over your body. Not even ten minutes later you both are sweating, panting hard, as you come down from your climax. “Damn baby, each time I don’t think it can get any better and yet you surprise me each time.” Josh heaves out next to you before rolling over on his side to look at your blissed out face. You give him a hum of approval as you try to calm down your breathing. “I’ll be right back.” He tells you before getting up and pulling on a pair of boxers and leaving the room. When he comes back he has a glass of water in his hand and something small and wrapped in the other. He carefully hands you the water as you sit up taking a few sips before looking over at him.
“What’s that?” You ask him.
“It’s your final Christmas gift.” He tells you.
“Josh, Christmas was over two days ago.”
“I know, but I was looking for the right time and with the family around it never really happened.” He explained to you as he handed you the gift. You looked at him, giving him a weak smile before unwrapping the gift.
“Josh what’s this?” You asked him, looking down at the small locket that had a clock face on it.
“It’s a promise,” he tells you gently, grabbing the locket from you and guiding you to turn your back towards him. “a promise that no matter who we are with or where we are I’ll always make time for you.” He clasps the chain in place before you turn back to him. Tears well in your eyes as you embrace him.
“I love it.” You murmur into his neck as his arms hold your figure.
Hey! Ok this is my first ever one shot and yes I write about J-Hutch mainly but for my friends sake I also write about other crushes so feel free to ask. Here goes nothing!
Your POV
" You are such a jerk!!! " you scream at Josh your face all red. You had I fight earlier that evening. " You are a f**king bastard". You are now storming at the door. Josh looks at you and fires back " Ohhhh so now you are going leave me and our two year relationship behind" You don't even listen to him and slam the door behind you and start running down the street. You can hear Driver barking and running around in a furious matter. But you just ignore him and continue running. You stop half way with your tears streaming down your face and sit on the cold hard ground. Not long after that you can sense a big but familiar shadow behind you. You see your newly ex-boyfriend Josh. His gorgeous eyes all puffy and red from crying. He slowly and hesitantly sits next to you and wraps his strong arms around you and says '' I'm know I 'm a bastard but a bastard who loves you, a bastard who cares about you, a bastard who is jealous of every other guy you talk to including my dad!!! But most importantly a bastard who can't even breathe without you soooo if thats a crime let the cops take me!!!!" You break of his words with a passionate kiss. And lets just say you don't call the cops.
“This will be hilarious” my best friend Lizzie grinned at me.
“A whole month in LA, what are you some sort of wannabe cliché trying to make it big?” I scuffed my feet, embarrassed by her assumptions despite how wrong they were.
“I don’t much care what you think if I’m honest, Liz. It will be one hell of an experience that’s for sure, I need this. Plus I’m not surprised you’re jealous having to stay in this country with this weather.” She scowled at me glancing wearily outside at the pouring grey rain splashing against the window with force.
“Whatever dude. Just be safe, yeh? Don’t get in cars with weird men and be on the watch for gangs and shit I heard there are some out there” I laughed. Our sheltered countryside lifestyle in the south of England had been pushing the limit on comfortable. This was going to be way out of my comfort zone. And I couldn’t wait another day.
It turned out this was the least of my worries as I just so happened to meet a rather intriguing man on chat roulette that following week. Chat Roulette, a site I would never normally let my myself enter unless bored and intoxicated which as it happened this dull Friday evening where I sat in my parents living room trying to save money for my trip, I was.
The man that popped up on screen was light haired, hazel eyes and had a slightly unshaven rough look about him, my hand hovered over the ‘next’ button as the man typed out “Please stay, you look normal. And beautiful.” I hesitated, I’m a sucker for a compliment, always have been. He smiled a broad shiny white smile and his strange appearance vanished. Good teeth I nodded to myself approvingly, I suppose I can give him a chance.
“What’s up?” I asked turning my speakers on full volume and muted the episode of Friends that I was watching in the background. The guy on the screen surveyed me and smiled friendly.
“Hey, not much to be honest. Got bored at work thought someone online can’t be as bad as anyone here right?” he scuffed in a slangy American accent I didn’t recognize. This threw me, meeting someone from the place I was moving to next week was exciting. A small current of energy ran through me and I sat up on my desk chair to get a better look at him. He had beautiful eyes although his head was titled shyly down from the camera and the angle wasn’t to clear.
“I wouldn’t normally spend my spare time talking to strangers. But I’m bored, and slightly drunk.” I admitted. His face was familiar to me now I looked at it. Where had I seen that face before? That jaw line?
He grinned infectiously at me “Nice to know I’m your first”
“So, I’m Alice. Do you have a name, strange American man?” I asked straining my eyes to make out the face over the fuzzy webcam picture.
“Hey there, I’m Josh. Nice to meet you, Alice.”
We chatted on and off for about an hour, I found out that Josh was from the state of Kentucky and that he had a dog named Driver who barked continuously until stroked. We only stopped briefly so Josh could answer the door while I stared at the section of a white wall I could see from wherever in the world he was. A man of mystery I thought, chuckling to myself.
As it turned out five minutes later, he told me that he just so happened to live in LA. LA I breathed silently, was this just a coincidence I met someone online who lived in my new home or was chat roulette just really big over there? How odd.
As Josh yawned and said his lunch break was over I knew it was time to say my goodbyes. This guy was funny; he was decent, smart and charming. And I didn’t want to say bye.
“I’m moving to California” I blurted out suddenly. I didn’t want to mention it at first, mainly because having been brought up to recognize the danger of strange men I didn’t want to become a stalking object. Looking back now this was the funniest irony of them all.
“No kidding? That’s fantastic you’re going to have an awesome time and the weathers so sweet at the moment, Alice.” He genuinely looked happy for me so I took a deep breath and went on with the speech I had lined up in my head for the last 20 minutes.
“Yeh, Los Angeles actually. I’ve got a job at a PR firm over there and if I’m honest I’m bloody scared.” He looked straight at me through the camera, frowning slightly as I continued “I don’t know a single soul there. And I know I should look at it from an adventurous point of view but jeez, it’s intimidating. It’s such a well-known place! I want to make a good impression, I want to meet some incredible people and overall, well, I want to be accepted.” As soon as it left my mouth I regretted it. I’m not the soppy type, I don’t give a shit what people think of me normally, and in fact I find most people opinions amusing. But this was such a change, such a gap between my family and me I wanted something, someone to reassure me.
He smiled “You don’t have a thing to worry about; you’re going to love it here that I can guarantee you. But as for the friend thing, well you’ve got me dude. I mean I’m really busy with work and shit at the moment but I’m around the area for about a month or so. Just give me a ring when you’re in the city we can meet up for a coffee. If you fancy it, no pressure.” He looked up expectantly. Josh had told me how he worked in the film industry although he wasn’t very specific and I had kind of pegged him as a stunt double, he looked muscular, small from what I had seen and he was energetic. I liked this.
“That would be cool, I’d really appreciate that Josh. Cheers” he nodded and started typing. His number popped up in the chat bar of the site and I grinned at him. I had made my first alliance in LA. Things were looking up.
