Pretty great, actually!
I’ve already made a couple of friends, and everyone else seems really friendly! Plus one of the girls is someone I used to go to school with so it was nice to see her – it kind of eased my nerves.
My tutor’s really nice and made sure to check on me throughout the day – which I really wasn’t expecting. I mean, she knew about my anxiety but I didn’t think she’d take time to pull me aside and make sure I was okay.
The only kinda awkward downside was a woman from the college’s sexual health clinic trying to pressure me into taking a chlamydia test?? I mean... it’s a bit of a weird way to bond with your new friends...
