“yeah of course -- just barge on in like it’s nobody’s business.” the girl chuckled. “hi rhys. how may i help you today?” playfully punching him in the arm, she stared blankly at him. “hey, hello ?? what the hell is going on?”
running her hand through her hair, josie put a box of fruity pebbles in the cart as she continued to push it along through the aisle of the grocery store. levi reached for the oreos, his short arms not being able to reach so the look he gave his mommy was a hopeful one. “you know i don’t like you eating oreos, sweetie.” and cue the bottom lip popping out, his upper lip tucked in along with his arms crossed. “but mommy.” he whined. “fine, just this once. don’t pout at me.” she giggled before looking up and seeing a familiar face. “shit.” she muttered, trying to turn away as fast as she could before they noticed.
“what? why the hell would they do that to you?”
