Valentine Lodge in Craggen Maw just off Route 10 is a pleasant place to spend time. The public is welcome, and recently I sat there with a friend while editing photos and working on a blog post. I enjoyed the music stream.
The Red Norwegian building is by Joss Floss; the Lodge set up is by Veyot. The huge window in back looks out to more seating, flowers and a friendly bear. The fire is going, and the television on. There’s donuts, cookies and beer. And art and flowers.
A welcoming, restful place to sit and talk, or work on something, and likely to not be around for long.
