@zelinxia OH GOD ABSOLUTELY. i care WAY too much about tags for storage to ever shift to twitter. i like making stores of Approved Content that i can shift through - like, ive been going thru my clamp tag for my fic? and also just having a tag full of references? and it’s easy to go back to a certain time in my life and find specific posts i have always been scrupulous abt tagging.......... also i can express my opinions in an undertone w tags... twitter is just aggro, all the time

idk where exactly you are in CA so im just including everything

lyon-martin health services (san francisco, CA) - averages about $30 for a visit (sliding scale), including bloodwork, they can start you on T after two visits and they never turn anyone away due to lack of money

tom waddell health center (san francisco, CA)

dimensions clinic (san francisco, CA)

turk clinic (san francisco, CA) - you need to have healthy SF or SF health plan, medical, medicaid, medicare. you'll have to call if you have private insurance. hrt is through primary care clinic.

dr. michelle orengo-macfarlane (union city, CA) - used to be with lyon-martin, is now running a private practice but is recommended by trans people

dr. jennifer hastings, planned parenthood westside health center (santa cruz, CA) - a semi-long wait but she tries to find ways around it and get people in ASAP and is really passionate about helping trans people find the care they need

dr. marki j. knox (santa monica, CA) - travels to LA occasionally to see patients there - confirmed informed consent

all of these people basically see you once, do bloodwork, and then write you a script for T. if you message me and let me know exactly where you live (like the general area) i can try and narrow my searches down but basically just google informed consent near wherever you live and call around !! most informed consent people work on a sliding scale. mazzoni center (in philly, where i go) makes all my visits free and for like 6 months worth of testosterone i pay $90 (including needles) so it’s literally like...$13/mo haha
