Resistance and Corruption
wait so exactly what is going on with jotec caesar? is he corrupted? an experiment gone wrong?
When Wamuu captures Caesar after the fight, he brings Caesar into the Pillar Men’s lab to experiment on him. The very first thing that they did was manipulate his memory. At first, Caesar resisted, but after being debilitated, his memory was wiped and rewritten.
The Pillar Men knew Caesar was a passionate man, so they used that against Joseph + crew. They made Caesar think that Joseph and Lisa Lisa handed him over to the Pillar Men, and that the Pillar Men actually saved his life. This isn’t true by any means, but it drove Caesar insane, and he set out to find Joseph and kill him. The Pillar Men were using Caesar as a prototype for a bigger project; they manipulated his memory and turned him into a cyborg to understand the human body better, and see how Caesar would perform in a fight.
Caesar and Joseph eventually fight, and it’s devastating. Joseph won, but at the cost of Caesar’s life. That fight traumatized Joseph for the rest of his life, and he constantly has nightmares and relives that night.

Of course! There’s a lot of unorganized info that I have buzzing on my head but I’ll share some more art-
The first doodle is really old and I hate it but it’s supposed to be the reveal of Star Platinum
In this AU, stands are created with a mixture of machine, organic matter, and DNA taken from their user. They can be multipurpose, but Jotaro’s stand is mainly built for fighting. The shared DNA between a stand and its user allows the user to connect with their stand and control it. That being said, stands also do have free will to some extent. I know some do in canon too but this is true for all stands in this AU.
Stands were first invented by Dio under JoTec, but the Speedwagon Foundation, an underground competitor, started making stands for Jotaro and crew once they found out Dio had stands. That’s the basic explanation of stands in this AU if that makes any sense. Oh, and part 3 in this AU takes place in roughly ~2119, just under 100 years in the future.

wait so caesar is a cyborg in the jotec au?
Short answer: yes. Yes he is.
Long answer: He wasn’t always a cyborg.
Dio, who is the C.E.O. of JoTec, has 4 Vice Presidents, referred to as the Pillar Men. In part 2 of this AU, Joseph and crew are trying to take down the 4 VPs. First, Joseph takes down the first VP, Santana, by himself. Then, both Caesar and Jospeh defeat Esidisi together, and they both defeat Wamuu together afterwards.
Or so they thought.
The two of them let their guard down, and Wamuu, who survived the battle, was able to rebound and capture Caesar. Wamuu/JoTec does some experimenting with him and that’s when Caesar became a cyborg. Let’s just say no one has a good time when that happens
Maybe Jotec Stands can shrink in size and just hang around on their user's head or shoulder
