Junk journaling is so fun! Look at my pretty pages!!
The pages in composition notebooks are rather thin. I've been using my kids construction paper to layer the pages so its not so thin.
First one I cut up a butterfly git bag I had received. These bags were handed out to people at a kids birthday party I had missed due to back surgery. I love butterflies and love the idea of a secret garden\portal. Inside the envelope are words of encouragement.
The second one was a blank valentines day card a friend gave me. I had no idea what to do with it because I didn't want to give it away. The art work was so pretty I wanted to keep it for myself. So I did and turned it into a fantasy page.
Also a friend of mine gave me old books of wall paper samples and some of them are quite pretty. One was golden and textured. It felt like dragon scales so I used it. Not sure what else to do with the page. Maybe get some dragon stickers and later a poem or some kind of quote about dragons.
Im a beginner at this so tips and ideas are welcome :) I've been using things I find laying around the house.
