My mum bought me a Kindle for Christmas, which was very kind, but I adore physical books (and could never imagine picking a screen over the joy of holding, dogearing, highlighting and annotating my books) but I just discovered I can download fanfic from AO3 to read on there! 

Kindle, you now have an important function as my personal sinning-on-the-go cube.

OH MY GODDDDDD Luther WAS so amazing!!!!!!! Heffernan was amazingly creepy I can’t WAIT for next week!!!

@etave, I promised photos when the beautiful Waterloo teapot was being used the hell out of (which was immediately after the post-lady delivered it this afternoon!) I love it so much, it’s perfect, thank you thank you <3 The Duke’s tea tastes delicious when made in it too (I’ve almost finished that, it’s so yummy) I’m going to use it EVERY DAY. <3 <3

why did my paint tool sai trial have to expire right in the middle of a big thing i’m working on ughhhh

So I had a lovely day-after-my-birthday day with @cakesandsnouts today who came back from Belgium this morning with some beautiful gifts for me! She bought me some lovely thick Christmassy socks, some gorgeous multi-coloured macaroons and a box of chocolates she “specially selected” for me <3 (included were some of those candied orange slices dipped in dark chocolate too, I’m dribbling just thinking about them tbh)

We went out for dinner tonight and I had a breakdown over the size and choice of the menu they had. After much deliberation I decided on a salad but then saw a huge plate of meat go past on a tray and changed my mind right at the last minute. I then chomped my way through a rack of ribs, half a roast chicken and a huge plate of chips. DELICIOUS!

Why don’t things ever go away? all of the past memories, heartbreaks, friendships, mistakes, hook ups, regrets, boyfriends, first loves. It all just continues to weigh on my mind and time is supposed to heal but so much time has passed and I’ve spent almost this whole year in pain over the past. So closed off that I have not been able to be with someone. This whole year I’ve spent mourning my ex relationships. How long will it take to heal this
