I thought you might like to know that today I saw someone who could've been the lovechild of Gallavich, I'm not even kidding. He was the perfect combo of both of them.
Sheldon teaches Amy how to paintball (how to hide, shoot, ect)
Hi. Thanks for the prompt. This one took me a while to write, but I'm not really sure why. I hope you enjoy. I miss paintball. I mean, I miss the guys playing paintball. I've never played paintball.
The guys were planning a paintball day. They hadn't played for a while, and they needed to change this. In the middle of planning, the girls walked into the apartment. Even Emily was with them because she got along well with Bernadette and Amy.
“Hey, guys,” Penny said.
“Hey,” Leonard said as he greeted his fiancee. Then he went right back into planning.
“Having a big video game night?” Penny asked.
“We are planning a big paintball game,” Sheldon said proudly.
“I've always kind of wanted to play paintball,” Emily said.
“You should come with us,” Raj said. He wanted to include his girlfriend in many aspects of his life.
“Do you guys all want to play with us?” Leonard asked.
The girls all looked at each other and decided that they did. It sounded more fun than the boys' normal video or board games. The guys started including the girls in the plans for the day.
“Do we play boys vs. girls?” Howard asked.
“I want Amy, Penny, and Bernadette on my team,” Sheldon said. He eyed Emily, and thought about changing Amy for Emily. She was tall and looked stronger. “Or maybe Emily instead of Amy,” he suggested.
“Hey. I'm your girlfriend,” Amy said.
“Yes, but look at her,” Sheldon said. Amy glared at Sheldon. “Fine. I'll take you, but you have to let me train you before we play,” Sheldon said.
“Fine,” Amy said.
“Sheldon doesn't get all of the girls. I want my wife,” Howard said.
“I called dibs,” Sheldon said.
“Excuse you. I'm my own person,” Bernadette piped up. “I want to be on Sheldon's team.”
“Hey,” Howard complained.
“Sorry, Howie. We're going to kick your ass. That doesn't mean I don't love you,” Bernadette said sweetly to her husband.
They started bickering about this, and everyone else tuned them out. Leonard explained the basic rules to Amy and Emily. Penny had played before so she just went to get something to drink. After it seemed that Bernadette and Howard had finished, Sheldon called a team meeting for himself, Amy, Penny, and Bernadette.
“I picked Penny for her strength, Bernadette for her competitiveness, and Amy because,” then he paused and sighed. “She's my girlfriend. Don't say I never do anything for you,” he added. Sheldon laid out his plan for their game and told them to go over it at home. Then he let them go except for Amy.
“You and I are going to meet at the park on Saturday. We will be going over everything you need to know about paintball. The game is on Sunday, so we won't have a lot of time for messing around,” he said seriously. He was counting on her earning her place on the team. There were no freebies here.
On Saturday, Sheldon met Amy at the park. She was dressed in sweats and sneakers that he had never seen before, and ready to go when he got there.
“I'm glad you are taking this seriously,” Sheldon said.
“Of course,” Amy said. She started stretching, and Sheldon watched her do it. He thought that maybe this wasn't such a waste of an afternoon after all.
They ran through all of the drills that Sheldon designed for Amy. They covered running, dodging, rolling, and shooting. Sheldon didn't bring Amy a real paintball gun because they were in a public park, and he didn't want to risk her hitting someone. He had marshmallow guns for them to use instead.
The first thing Amy did when Sheldon handed her one of the marshmallow guns was to shoot Sheldon right in the face.
“I'm glad I didn't bring the real paintball guns. Don't ever do that with one of those. You could really hurt someone,” Sheldon warned.
“I know, but this was just a marshmallow,” Amy said before raising her gun to shoot Sheldon again. He took the gun from her hands.
“You can't handle the responsibilities of the gun. We'll do another round of ducking and hiding,” Sheldon said.
Amy just picked up a marshmallow and threw it at Sheldon before running to duck and hide from him. He ran after her with the marshmallow gun. He kept trying to shoot her, but missed eight of the ten times. Then he stopped to catch his breath.
“I think you might be my secret weapon,” Sheldon said as he still tried to breathe. “You are much better at this than I anticipated.”
“I should think so. I spent four years of high school dodging people throwing stuff at me in the hallways,” Amy said. Then she ran up to Sheldon, kissed him on the cheek, and ran off again.
“No fair,” he said before he started chasing her again.
By the end of the afternoon, Sheldon was a little sore, but believed that Amy would not lose them the paintball game the next day. She knew the basics, and she was actually pretty good at moving. It seemed that sneakers and sweats made her much more adept at athletics than he would have ever assumed.
The next day, they all met at the paintball arena, and broke into teams.
“It's on, Hofstadter,” Penny told her fiance. She wondered why she agreed to be on Sheldon's team, but she believed that it was the better team.
“Oh yeah?” Leonard said.
“Oh, stop flirting. You can have sex after we beat you,” Sheldon said.
Amy flicked her eyebrows up at him, but didn't say anything. Sheldon just rolled his eyes before calling another team meeting. He explained what each of them were to do, and that they were to follow his instructions carefully. Then they left the shed to start playing.
Within an hour, Sheldon's team still had all of their members, but Leonard's team was down Raj and Emily. They left to go make out or something. Then Leonard took out Bernadette, and while she started yelling at him, Penny took him out. Then Howard took out Penny.
Amy stayed by Sheldon's side as they hunted for their engineer friend. He had run off, and was now hiding somewhere in the trees.
“Keep down,” Sheldon said. He felt the need to protect Amy. She did as he said, but kept a keen eye out for Howard.
“Shh,” Amy said when they heard some rustling. Then Howard ran out toward then. Amy managed to dodge his attack, but Sheldon wasn't quite as quick. He was shot before Howard ran off again.
“No,” Amy yelled.
“I'm dead, Amy. Avenge me,” Sheldon said before kissing Amy's cheek and heading back to the clubhouse to find everyone else.
“No, Sheldon. Stay with me,” Amy said.
“I can't. I've taught you well, but I'm dead now. You have to do this alone,” Sheldon said. Then he was gone, and Amy was standing there alone, trying to find her friend so she could avenge his murder of her boyfriend.
Amy started walking softly through the trees as she looked for Howard. This was going to be over soon either way, but she wanted to win. She wanted to win for Sheldon, Penny, and Bernadette. She also wanted to win for herself. Sheldon was right, he had taught her well. Even new at this, Amy was sure she wasn't bad at it.
That's when she spotted Howard just ahead of her. He saw her at the same time, and they both started running and shooting at the same time. Amy barely avoided one of Howard's shots using a technique that Sheldon had showed her the day before. Then one of her shots hit him in the shoulder. It was the first time that she hit anyone with a paintball gun.
“Ow, Amy,” Howard said as he grabbed his shoulder.
“You killed Sheldon,” Amy said. “I had to kill you. I'm sorry,” she said with a shrug.
Just as she said that, Sheldon came running out of the trees. He ran right over to Amy, pulled off her goggles and placed a kiss on her lips.
“You were following me?” Amy asked.
“I had to. I wanted to see how you would do, and you did spectacularly,” Sheldon said.
“I had a good teacher,” Amy said before getting on her toes to kiss him again.
“Ugh. Stop. It's bad enough that I died,” Howard said before wandering off.
Ooh another prompt: For some reason, Miss Cooper needs to borrow Sheldon's phone. She sees the background is of Amy and realises how much her little boy has grown, and they discuss his relationship with Amy. Then Amy walks in, pretending to not have heard anything, even though she totally heard it all ;)
Thanks for the prompt. I hope you enjoy. :)
“Shelly, I need to call your MeeMaw and check in. I told her I would call her everyday while I was out here visiting you,” Mary to her son.
“Okay,” Sheldon said.
“I need to use your phone,” Mary said and grabbed Sheldon's phone from the coffee table in front of him.
“No,” Sheldon said as he tried to get his cell phone back from his mother. It was too late. He saw her hit the button to bring the screen to life. Smiling up from the lock screen was a picture of his girlfriend.
“Oh. You have a photo of your girl on your phone. That's sweet,” Mary said as she was about to place the call.
“She must have put that on there,” Sheldon said. He didn't want his mother to know about how much he loved Amy. She was bound to give him a “talking to” about it.
“Shelly, it's okay if you like your girlfriend. I'm proud of you. You've grown up so much since you've started seeing that girl. I guess I didn't realize how close you two had gotten, but I can see it now. She's done you a lot of good. Be proud of that,” Mary said.
Then she placed her call. Everything was alright at home, so the call was short. When she was done, she looked at the photo of Amy on Sheldon's phone again.
“I'll be honest with you. I never quite believed that you would find a girl. Your sister and brother were always dating, but you never so much showed a bit of interest in girls. Or boys for that matter. Your daddy thought that you might like boys, but your sister had a new boyfriend every week and you only paid attention to them when they threw something at you,” Mary said. “Your daddy would be real proud of you,” Mary added after a moment.
“Because I finally have a girlfriend? I think I've done things more worthy of praise than getting a girlfriend,” Sheldon said.
“He was always proud of your schooling and how smart you are. I just mean that he would be real proud of the man you've become. I know I am,” Mary said.
“I love her,” Sheldon admitted.
“I can see that,” Mary said as she held up Sheldon's phone.
Then there was a knock on the door. “That's her. Don't tell her about the phone thing,” Sheldon said as he got up to answer the door.
“Well, why not? Doesn't she know that you love her?” Mary asked.
“Keep your voice down, she might hear you,” Sheldon said.
“She should hear me. She should hear you,” Mary said. “You need to tell that girl that you love her.”
“It's best if she doesn't know. She'll make me kiss her more. She'll make me move in with her. It's a slippery slope,” Sheldon said before giving his mother one more look and opening the door.
Amy was standing there with a smile on her face, and Sheldon was worried that she had heard that last bit of conversation. “Hello,” she said cheerfully.
“Hello, Amy. You remember my mother?” Sheldon said.
“Of course I do,” Amy said. She walked over and gave Mary a hug.
Sheldon was nervous that Amy would say something about him loving her, but she didn't. Instead, the three of them had a pleasant dinner together. However, when Sheldon got up to use the bathroom, Amy leaned over to Mary.
“I heard what you guys were saying before he let me in. I just wanted you to know that I love him too. We don't say it, but we both know. And you are right; he has grown. He's becoming such a great man. You raised a good one,” Amy said with a wink before Sheldon could come back.
2nd prompt: Sheldon does something wrong. Amy suggests a penalty. Though would he call french kissing (for the first time) a punishment or a reward?
Hi. Thanks for the prompt. I hope you like this. I'm back with a better attitude and my not broken hand and writing again. Thanks for your patience yesterday.
“Sheldon, I will not tolerate you canceling date night again. This is the second time in three months that you've canceled. If you do it again, I think you should face a punishment,” Amy said when Sheldon called her to cancel.
“A punishment? What kind of punishment?” Sheldon asked.
Amy thought about it for a moment. “How about you have to French kiss me for thirty seconds for the first date night missed, and a full minute for the second date night missed,” Amy suggested.
“No. I don't want to do that,” Sheldon said.
“Then don't miss anymore date nights,” Amy said before hanging up the phone. This seemed like a fair punishment for Sheldon. Something she would like if he bailed on her again, but something that would push his boundaries a little too.
The next month, Sheldon called Amy. “I can't make date night tonight. Please don't make me French kiss you,” he told her.
“Why can't you make date night?” Amy asked.
“I have to re-iron all of my pants. I noticed the creases are crooked on at least half of them,” he said.
“Not good enough. Either I come pick you up or we French kiss the next time I see you,” Amy said.
“But, Amy,” Sheldon whined.
“But, nothing. You keep skipping our date nights, and I don't like it. It makes me feel like you don't want to spend time with me. Either that or we remove formal date nights all together. I don't like the disappointment I feel when you cancel,” Amy said.
“Are you breaking up with me?” Sheldon asked. “You have to come here and sign the release.”
“I don't want to break up with you,” Amy said. “I just don't want to keep having a situation where I feel like you are trying to invent excuses to not spend time with me.”
“Don't do that. I'll face my punishment like a man. We'll do it after dinner tomorrow,” Sheldon said.
“Very well,” Amy said.
After dinner the next night, Sheldon asked Amy to follow him into his bedroom. “We have some relationship business to tend to,” he explained to Leonard and Penny.
“Show her a good time,” Penny said.
“I always do,” Sheldon said, not understanding Penny's meaning.
They walked into Sheldon's room and he locked the door. “Okay. Should we set an alarm or should I count in my head?” he asked her.
“An alarm,” Amy said. She didn't trust Sheldon not to cut this short. She watched as he pulled out his phone and set an alarm to go off in 30 seconds.
“Ready?” Sheldon asked.
Amy nodded. Sheldon started the timer and leaned down to kiss her. At first, Sheldon just kissed her like he always kissed her. With his mouth closed. Then just as Amy parted her lips to complain, Sheldon's mouth opened and his tongue slipped into her mouth. He was clearly nervous as he softly touched her tongue with his, and Amy was nearly too stunned to even try to do much more than that. Still, it sent a charge up Amy's spine. If Sheldon was enjoying it half as much as Amy was, they might have to add it to the Relationship Agreement.
The alarm went off, and Sheldon pulled away from Amy. She got on her toes to follow him, but he was just too tall.
“Was that satisfactory?” Sheldon asked. He looked a little flushed, but he didn't seem nearly as affected by it as Amy was. She stepped back and sat on his bed for a moment.
“Yes. Thank you,” Amy said.
“I'm glad I fulfilled the terms of my punishment,” Sheldon said with a nod. Then he opened his door and left Amy sitting there alone. He still saw it as a punishment, but he was pretty good at this whole kissing thing. Amy caught her breath and joined him in the living room a moment later.
The next month, on date night, Amy heard a knock at her door. At least Sheldon showed up for this date. She made him dinner and a cake. She answered the door to let him in.
“Oh, dear. I'm late. I have broken our agreement. What are we going to do about this?” Sheldon asked.
“It's fine. You are, like, two minutes late. It's really not a problem,” Amy said.
“It's disrespectful of me to show up late. You should probably give me some kind of penalty,” Sheldon insisted.
“What's up with you?” Amy asked.
“I need to face a penalty for wasting your time,” Sheldon said. “Please,” he added.
“What kind of penalty?” Amy asked.
“I don't know. What did we do the last time you weren't pleased by one of my behaviors?” Sheldon asked.
“Oh my gosh, you want to make out with me,” Amy said when she understood. “You can just ask. You don't need to fabricate scenarios in which I punish you by making you kiss me. In fact, I would prefer if you would just ask. I don't want to feel like you kissing me should be something you hate.”
“Can we make out, then?” Sheldon asked.
“Yes. After dinner,” Amy said with a smile. “I don't want it getting cold,” she added with a wink.
1st prompt: I'd love to see Sheldon greet Amy with a really lovely hug Amy when he comes back. Like, a real hug, and for him to just sweetly say "I missed you" - nothing elaborate. Just short and very Sheldon-like.
Thanks for the prompt. I hope you like this one. I really think we are overdue for a real hug between these two. Like, especially a hug from Sheldon. As usual, I wish that I was actually a writer on the show. Though, I think people would not like that. They complain that Sheldon isn't mean enough anymore. Can you imagine if I got my hands on him? Anyway... yes... story time. Please enjoy.
Sheldon walked into his apartment with Leonard. All of his friends were there to welcome him home from his summer away. Well, everyone but the one person he really wanted to see.
“Where is she?” Sheldon asked as Penny came up to hug him.
“I told you he would be upset that she isn't here,” Penny told Leonard. They didn't need to ask who Sheldon was referring to. He wanted to see his girlfriend, Amy Farrah Fowler.
“She's... busy,” Leonard said.
“What do you mean? What could be more important than welcoming me home? We haven't seen each other in months,” Sheldon said.
“She's just busy. She has a big project at work to finish, and told us that she'll see you soon enough,” Leonard said.
“Seeing me wasn't one of Amy's priorities?” Sheldon asked.
“Sorry, buddy,” Leonard said with a shrug. He felt a little bad about Amy choosing work over Sheldon, but he couldn't really blame her. Amy had had a good summer, but one of the ways that she had decided to deal with her extra time was to throw herself into her work. As far as Leonard could understand, Amy was close to a breakthrough, and couldn't really get away.
“Take me to her,” Sheldon said.
“Come on, Sheldon. We have dinner, and everyone else is here to see you. You can see Amy tomorrow when she isn't so busy,” Leonard said.
“I don't care. I want to see Amy,” Sheldon said as he walked out the front door.
“I'll go after him,” Howard said as he got up to follow him out the door. At the bottom of the stairs, Howard caught Sheldon.
“Hey, man. Are you okay?” Howard asked.
“I just want to see Amy. Will you give me a ride?” Sheldon asked.
“Sure. Let me just text Bernie to let her know,” Howard said and pulled out his phone. He could appreciate Sheldon wanting to see Amy as soon as he got home. Howard couldn't wait to see Bernadette when he got back from space.
They drove over to Cal Tech. Howard walked Sheldon into the building to see Amy. They found her in her lab, hugging several different people with a plastic cup of cheap champagne in her hand.
“What's going on here?” Sheldon asked as he burst into the lab.
“We just made a big discovery,” Amy said. Then she started to describe what they had found and why it was important when Sheldon cut her off.
“Can I speak to you in the hall?” Sheldon asked. He looked a little angry, but Amy nodded and followed him out of her lab.
“I know you are mad that I missed your welcome home party, but--” Amy started but couldn't continue because of how hard Sheldon was squeezing her to his chest.
“I missed you so much,” he said as he held her. “So much,” he repeated.
The hug was relaxed a little when Sheldon noticed that Howard was staring at them. He pushed Amy away a little so that he could look at her. Her hair was a little shorter and she had on new glasses, but she was still his Amy. They went back into the lab so that Sheldon could hear about Amy's new discovery. Then they all went back to Sheldon's to join his own party in progress.
prompt: vulcan kissing :D :D :D [maybe as they're video-chatting]
Hi! Thanks for the prompt. This is kind of a short one today, but I hope you still enjoy. Vulcan kissing is adorable, and they need to include it in the show.
“Can I show you a special kind of kiss?” Sheldon asked.
Amy nodded enthusiastically. She thought that maybe Sheldon was going to French kiss her for the first time.
“Okay. Let me see your hand,” Sheldon said.
Amy presented her right hand to Sheldon. He took it and flipped it over so that her palm was facing up. Then he extended his index and middle fingers together and indicated that Amy should do the same. He pressed his fingers to hers and smiled. Even with all of their other kisses, he felt a certain erotic charge from this simple touch.
“I thought you were going to kiss me,” Amy said.
“I did. That was a Vulcan kiss,” Sheldon said.
“Seriously, Sheldon. Teasing me with your Star Trek nonsense?” Amy asked.
“I wasn't teasing you. I've been wanting to do that for a while,” Sheldon said seriously.
Amy tried to remember how seriously he took his Star Trek and nodded. “Can I try?” she asked after a moment.
Sheldon nodded and held up his hand. Amy tried to think about how much it meant to Sheldon as she touched his fingers with her own. She supposed it was nice. Maybe not as nice as a real kiss, but still sweet in its own way.
After that, Amy usually greeted Sheldon with a subtle touch of the fingers. When she came over, she would slip her hand into Sheldon's and gently touch his fingers. When they went to the movies, she tapped his extended fingers before they started holding hands. Sometimes she would just slip him a Vulcan kiss because she felt like it. He never objected.
Amy was leaning into Sheldon's shoulder and playing with his hand. She was caressing his fingers with her own, and he was enjoying it more than he cared to admit. He kept sighing and pulling his hand back to pretend that he didn't like it, but then he would slip his hand back into Amy's and let her touch it again.
“I'm enjoying making out with you, Amy,” he said finally.
“Are we making out?” Amy asked.
Sheldon nodded his head. He thought she might tease him, but she just brought his hand to her mouth and kissed it before going back to caressing his fingers.
Later that night, when Sheldon got up to leave, Amy said, “Maybe next time we can make out the human way. That's what I am.”
“That would be nice,” Sheldon said. Then he realized what he said. It wasn't the first time she had used Star Trek to get to his heart and affections and he knew it wouldn't be the last.
