I have 82 days until I take the MCAT. This journey has been a hell of a road. I’ve made so many wrong turns, sometimes not stopping and thinking twice, operated in fear and made terrible and emotional decisions filled with a clouded mind. However, I’ve learned to love me regardless and forgive myself in order to receive the greatest gifts God has to offer.. opportunity and peace of mind. It took me three years to strike up the courage to be my authentic self and another two years to decide if this journey was for me — determining whether or not I was willing to sacrifice my time and energy to become exactly who I knew I was called to be.. a Doctor. Here’s to the journey and thank God for the lessons learned along the way.
