Raven could feel her heart racing in her chest as Johnny’s smooth voice said the three words she’d been longing to hear from someone ever since she was a little girl. It came on unexpectedly and for a moment she was rendered speechless before finally curling her lips into a smile.

Tbh I always feel so bad for Raven. The poor thing probably feels like Johnny's replacement...

I think there are times when she does feel like Operetta was his True Love and that she’s a consolation prize however those are few and far between. She does love Johnny and she doesn’t regret for a moment leaving Ever After and the chance to be her father’s heir to be with him

/OOC/ A few mutual on my main account were posting Cutting Edge GIF sets so here is a figure skater!Raven/Hockey Player!Johnny AU/ 

Raven let out a huff as she entered the locker room. All her life she’d been training to become the best of the best only to have her dreams shattered in a flash by one bad day causing her to miss qualifying for the national team by a fraction of a point. All was not lost however as her coaches and parents agreed that she should try out for the pairs division however there was a slight problem. 

“Why am I surrounded by idiots,” she mumbled to herself as she reapplied her lip gloss and thought of the latest failed attempt to find a partner. She wasn’t a diva, she was a perfectionist and if she didn’t have the best partner then she didn’t know how she’d make it against teams that had been together their whole lives. There was one more skater that she was to see this day… Johnny…. 

Rolling her eyes at reading that he was a hockey player she let out another groan. Hockey players might know their way around the ice however Raven thought they lacked technique as well as focus.

“He can’t be any worse than the last one,” she surmised as she sucked in a deep breath before making her way back into the rink, heart catching in her chest when she spotted a dark haired figure across the ice talking to her coach.
