The Jovial Feminine

Some people are a kaleidoscope of color, and they burn hot like the sun. As expressions of feminine and sexual desire continued to get narrowed down into vague 'light' and 'dark' feminine there leaves little space for all those above, beyond and in between.

The Jovial Feminine often someone who is a bit eccentric, these boisterous women don't mind taking up space and know how to command attention. They're colorful whether it be in appearence or personality and they radiate warmth. Oftentimes they may appear more 'cute' than sexy even if they have features associated with the latter--there bright personalities and joie de vivre often overtake their physical appearance. That's what makes them endearing, they're the life of the party. The first to show up and the last to leave and please do not go out with them if you don't wanna dance.

If you find yourself leaning towards bright colors, eclectic accessories, and a 'more is more' approach to practically everything you may fall into this category. Women like Kelis, Amaarae, Tinashe and Zara Laarson exemplify this style wise.

As with everything there is a spectrum, and those who are more introverted and minimal can still fall into this category but they still exude a certain brightness that can't be dampened no matter what. They may be more romantic or quiet but they still draw you in. Something about them is pure solar madness, craving the warmth they bring.

The more romantic of the Jovial women are like early spring, like running through a field of flowers til you're all fuzzy with pollen. They don't wear their hearts on their sleeves, it bleeds through their chest raw and open. They're unashamed of that, but the downside is it leaves them vulnerable to those wanting to take advantage. They don't understand why nobody else can be as straightforward as them. Be mindful of their gentle nature, but don't take their softness for passivity or weakness. When the rose colored glasses are off you will find each detail they stored away could be used to really fuck you up.

The next group tends to be impish, eccentric, and in all honestly slightly off putting. Each emotion is filtered through a wild smile that makes them a little hard to get a read on, and you want to be the person to solve that puzzle. These women enjoy games as long as they're the one playing them, but this aspect of their nature while thrilling, can lead to struggles maintaining deep relationships. But they're a fun time, and life will never be boring, just don't go in expecting a manic pixie dream girl. She'll probably throw a plate at your head.

Leaning as far into sensuality as possible, the last group is like the embodiment of summer. This is the pulsing basses, sweaty skin and sun bronzed skin. It's no wonder they thrive during the seasons. Probably the most ephemeral, like a mirage in the heat with how quickly they can envelop you. But they burn hot and fast, often leaving a trail of broken hearts in their wake. They don't try, but there's a bit of detachment with these women. They love for as long as the song plays on the dance floor.

If you believe you may be jovial or would like to inspire this sort energy, look towards citrus scents and yellow florals. These can range from uplifting scents to the itchy, polleny yellow florals that you strangely keep coming back to.

Orange/Orange Blossom- Often the sweetest of the citrus notes and can evoke orange juice or orange creamsicle depending on how it's combined with other notes. An underrated note in my opinion.
