gonna keep it real with y’all- the fandoms wall of negativity towards amazon lotr is really starting to get to me. i guess i’m just a excessive optimist, but i don’t understand why everyone is so determined to and certain they’re gonna hate it.... it’s kind of driving me away from the fandom a bit bc i’m really excited for this, and it’s kind of upsetting to see the negativity.
#it’s ok to be wary about it but like....... it’s just this overwhelming wall of negativity#anytime anything comes out about it#everyone just feels the need to write think pieces on the exact same things everyones already been over#and it’s disheartening#idk maybe its just me but when i feel negatively about something i don’t like to broadcast it#bc i don’t want to make people who feel positively about it feel bad#it might just be me being uber sensitive bc i am an uber sensitive person#eiren talks#like i open tumblr to share in my excitement about the news#and theres just talking about why it’s bad and its A REALLY AWFUL FEELING!!! what is the point in being in a fandom space if you cant share#joy over something
