K, so Electric Light Orchestra, Bastille, Hozier, the killers, the Nationals, NATHANIEL Rateliff (I cannot not put this in my choices), and the xx. <3 (and sorry if you has already answered some, didn't see the post)
Electric Light Orchestra: Favorite song to help you cheer up?
Well the problem with music is that it’s often too hard to choose… Well I would say maybe Keep Your Head Up by Ben Howard
( an acoustic version because I love it even though the album one is good as well)
ACTUALLY it reminds me also of this WONDERFUL VIDEO of Ben which NEVER fails to make me grin like a perfect idiot. (the music is amazing and he’s SO CUTE during the whole thing, plus the end of the video is just…aaaah (well all of it) (that’s it i’m going to listen to it on repeat for the whole week)
Bastille: A song that brings back bad memories?
Actually, lots of them cause with sad songs I tend to remember sad things. but i’m going to say You, by Keaton Henson because I’m still not over in the flesh and the fact it’s not renewed. (I know it was not really the question buuuut). Otherwise maybe something sad by Green Day ? I listened to them A LOT when I was a teen and I wasn’t at ease with myself? But now it’s more a melancholia kind of emotion (and not always).
Hozier: Favorite brand new artist?
easy: Hudson Taylor. Well they’re not new in Ireland and even in the UK but they’re really not known in France so…
The Killers: Name your top three songs of all time.
are you actually trying to kill me??? I just CAN’T answer to this question, they’re so many of them!!! Something of Green Day, and then I guess of AaRON and then I don’t know…. kodaline? passenger? ben howard? hudson taylor? (i know they’re not song but I give up, it’s impossible to make a choice. I don’t know. It depends of my moods and all really).
The National: A song you sing in the shower?
I’m going to disappoint you… I don’t sing in the shower. Actually, I’m not used to sing at all. I hate my voice and I just can’t sing in tune I think. The only times I sing is in concert cause I’m hidden among the crowd haha.
Nathaniel Rateliff: A song that never fails to make you emotional?
Lots. I’m sorry this is going to be a bit long.
You by Keaton Henson, L’arbre derrière by Ycare (best one of him honestly),
The light behind your eyes by My Chemical Romance, Last night thoughts by AaRON (lots of their songs actually), the music of Olafur Arnalds (please let me see him live one day),
Riding to new york & Golden Leaves by Passenger (I literally cried when I listened to them live at l’Olympia last year),
High Hopes/Talk/Love will set you free/All I want by Kodaline, Wildfires & Try by Hudson Taylor. Lately : Maybe On the Moon (AaRON)
The xx: A genre/band you’ve been getting into that you never thought you would enjoy?
mhmmm it’s a bid hard… Maybe.. I think i’ve had a bit of trouble get used to thirty seconds to mars and twenty one pilots but now I love what they do?
