Silent treatment may make your spouse feel worthless, unloved, hurt, confused, frustrated, angry, and unimportant. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Healthier ways to resolve conflicts in a marriage: 1. Hit the pause button. Make an agreement with your spouse to revisit the conflict at a later time. By pausing, you give each other time to cool down, think clearly and pray for wisdom. 2. Find the right time and place to fight. Set specific time and place where you can privately communicate without distractions. That includes don’t argue when you both are physically tired or in public. 3. Get focus in finding solutions to the problems and not busy pointing blames. Rather than pointing fingers at each other, get to the bottom of the problems and agree on a new set of boundaries to avoid the same mistakes in the future. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #JPCCFightForUs #JPCCMarriageRelationships #RespectAndLove ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To practice compassion during conflict is to focus on attacking the problems together, instead of attacking each other. https://www.instagram.com/p/BwAKCltFpCD/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=38wz2nbtl0jt
