Guys, I’m new on the administration of Fullmetal Alchemist Wiki. From now on you should expect new updates, or at least that’s what I'll gonna try to do.
Despite the original story is finished, much is still needed to be done. Not to mention the various adaptations, video games and the live action movie that is coming in 2017, that urgently needs a content restructuring and remodeling.
But, of course, none of this will be possible to do without the help of FMA fanbase. So, needless to say, I’m counting on you to keep this old wikipedia alive and with better content than ever!

Why September?! Why not now? -_-
Ahah, sorry! Glad you’re excited, though. There are a couple more weeks coming up in the future (Hyuroi and RoyEd), as well as fandom events like the Big Bang and the FMA Fandom Challenge going on right now. We wanted to space it out a bit and give the people working on things for those time to plan out and accommodate their schedules!
I love all FMA animations. However I will never understand why there are people that only think there is just one fantastic version of Fullmetal Alchemist. FMA 2003 and Brotherhood are both masterpieces, just accept that.
I’ve settled in on the assumption that it’s the extremely different nature of each series that causes such an intense divide in the fandom. People will be jackasses about what they like and what they don’t in pretty much everything, but FMA 03 and mangahood are so completely different from each other that a lot of people who like one don’t like the other purely because of their personal taste.
I’m not going to sugarcoat it, I don’t like Brotherhood... at all, really. I pretty actively dislike a lot of the choices that were made while adapting the manga, and I’m not a fan of the story in general. But I got over whining about it when I was like 15 and it’s about time the vitriolic people who make this fandom a festering cesspool of negativity consider trying the same.
1, 2, 5, 14, 15, 20?
OMG! I can’t believe someone really asked me something. I mean I got +150 followers, but still It’s unsual to see people asking me something. Maybe It’s my fault for not writing in english that well. Anyway, thank you Rin! :D1. Original or Brotherhood? Why?I am the type of person that loves everything from the series. However I probably would choose Brotherhood. Mainly because of the manga. To me, the manga version has the best content/plot/concepts I ever seen in a book. But i really like the direction of the scenes in FMA2003. I wouldn’t mind to have the same director in the FMA2009. Still I would give to these versions… FMA 2009: 9.7/10FMA 2003: 9.3/10FMA Movie 1: 8.9/10FMA Movie 2: 8.2/102. All time favorite character? Why?Definitely Edward Elric. Not because I don’t like the rest of the characters. Actually, every FMA character shines in my eyes. Some with better reasons, but someone that watched Fullmetal Alchemist has to admit that this franchise has a fantastic cast. Anyway, let’s go the question: look, Edward is a grumpy prodigious boy with a badass mechanical arm. Isn’t it enough for him being my favorite? :35. Chose one OTP and explain why you ship it.This one is hard. Edwin, Royai, EdxAl, Linfan, Royed, Alwin, OlivierxRoy, Edling, JeanxSolaris, etc, … Man, they are all so good!Oh well, Royai is my choice. they just complement each other so well, and they’re both interesting on their own. I like how Roy, even dating to some woman, would never find someone that deeply cares of him as Riza. Oh yeah, and their past in the manga is so beautiful and sad!
14. Which character death affected you the most and why?Nina’s. It was the first time I got depressed after watching an animated TV show. I was 14/15 years old in that time, so you can imagine how I was after watching the episode 7… Even today I can’t rewatch that episode without being sad after the end of it.15. What’s one thing you would change about the series and why?Almost nothing. The franchise is already so perfect: I love the fact that FMA 2003 has its own story; that Movie 1 is a sequel to the first TV series (it’s kind depressing movie, but i truly love it); that Bones decided to make a faithful adaptation some years later and after all of this, a second movie (if it could be a sequel of brotherhood, it would be better…but sacred star of milos was a nice film to me). Probably the only thing I would change is the number of episodes of FMAB. I wanted that my favorite show could have more scenes from the manga. So perhaps 78. Yeah 78 episodes would be fine to me.20. How long have you been in the fandom?FMA has always been my great passion when it comes to anime. Yeah I’m fan of the series since 2009 when the original FMA aired in my country. But I just got interested in making posts, publishing art and discussing FMA when created my tumblr account around 2012.
I really need to hear your opinion about 1 and 9 x)
1. Original or Brotherhood? Why?
definitely Brotherhood, god, where do I even begin tbh? I guess that the most concise way I can put this is that the overall message of the 2003 series was so unsatisfying. in the 2003 series, the whole point of Ed and Al’s journey amounts to the fact that sometimes you can give everything and still come back with nothing. I love that in Brotherhood, while there’s hardship and tragedy, there’s always this silver lining through all of that, one that says when you give something along with a part of yourself, you gain more than what you started with
9. Favorite battle? Why?
I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve watched the fight with Pride outside the Kanama slums, that one is just so Good omfg. I love the way Pride’s shadows are animated and how it goes from fucking zero to a hundred so fast and then sTAYS at a hundred for the next two eps like??? Pride comes strolling out of the forest disguised as Al, super chill and kinda creepy, and then bAM, shadow tentacles. oh, they turned off the lights? surprise!! Gluttony’s here too. but wait!! Ling just took over and Lan Fan showed up out of nowhere!! I love it!!!
