The woman sat against the wall of her cell, a sour look on her face. She agreed with him, but there was more to the situation that he did not know. And she was not able to tell. She was very much agitated with the council that had overseen her life since her father had been sent to guard the prison. Heck she didn't know if they had had a hand in her life since the beginning. Which was why she had done what she had. She wanted to know every detail of her father's military career from the officials viewpoint and why he was there... STILL THERE and never coming home.
He was the only person she had left.
"I know Jethro... but sometimes... there are just things that one has to do. I don't know if it makes any sense... I'm sorry if I've worried you. I'm really... really sorry."

Kozmotis slowly makes his way up the building where reported disturbances had been called to his attention; odd furniture flying here and there, things going missing, lights flickering. Signs of ghosts. Kozmotis gets his fake ID ready and knocks on the door, straightening and getting prepared to calm whatever nervous wreck was still trying to stay in that house.
"How did I get here?"
"That’s what I’d love to know." She stares at him with ill concealed annoyance, though there’s a bit of curiosity in there as well. "Presumably the same way you are going to leave, on foot. Although I’d like to know who you are before you leave."

4. Our muses will climb a beanstalk and encounter a giant
"You know, a bow, an arrow and a long rope would have been easier than climbing this beanstalk." North commented as the two men were climbing up towards the clouds. Jet had come to him the previous day telling him that he had a fun adventure for him and of course, who was North to say no to an adventure.
The two men climbed as fast as they could, even making it a challenge to see which one of them would reach the top first. It was unclear who the true winner was because they reached it at almost the exact same time and before they could argue over who won, the ground shook, throwing each man off balance.
"The hell..."
North's eyes widened when he saw the large figure towering above them. He scrambled to his feet and ran towards Jet, helping him up and dragging him along.
"Got any plans on how to get out of this Jet!"
