Went back and read the novel I wrote after years of leaving it on the shelf because I didn’t know how to fix it and... I’m really enjoying it??? Like I’m even getting emotional over certain parts again. I think I have to give this another try.

Good lord I... I finished! At 154k words the first fully complete draft of my novel is finished! I almost can’t believe it! There are already so many fixes I have in mind to make already, but for now it’s going to be out of sight for a couple weeks so I can come back to it with fresh eyes ready and raring to edit the everloving crap out of it!

Was able to get 2k in today and hit a total of 95k on my novel! Things are starting to really heat up plot-wise!

After around a week of being sick because of the flu and then celiac, I’ve finally hit 90k on my novel!

Almost forgot to mention, I hit 80k on my novel yesterday! Probably looking at over 100k by the time this is finished, then it’ll be down to the editing heh heh heh. *gleefully rubs hands together* I have my ax ready.

68k total word count on the novel and still so much that I need to add. Feels good to be this far, though!

I’ve hit 50k on my novel! A really big milestone this time! The dedicated 1k per day is working out really well, and now that I don’t have to worry about Challenge Modes taking up the weekends I’ll be able to get it in all days of the week!

Hit 45k on the novel today, have been able to consistently write 1k every weekday since last week. Going to try to get that to include weekends, and possibly bump my daily progress up to 2k per day.

The narrative is officially cresting the roller coaster drop, so things will get easier to write from now on due to being more tense and exciting as a whole.
