JR Month 2025- Week 3: Memories/Fairytale AU (The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl/Tanabata Festival).

The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl is technically a myth but a lot of fairytales felt too close to the Royalty AU from week 2 so I wanted to try something different (I'm currently working on getting caught up on week 1 and 2 since I was caught in other obligations that hindered me drawing 🥲).

December 2025 is JR Month! Each week there is a general theme & an AU theme. Share your fanwork each week and use tag #JRMonth2025. Open to all.

Saicoink (romanshoubu on twitter and saicoink.bsky.social on bluesky) will be working on making an old school copy fanzine. Works created during the JR month may be submitted for the same. He… hadn't given much thought to anything like that. Too focused on his own confusion. He drops his head, staring at their joined hands.

"I would probably… just go along with whatever he wanted."

"What if you felt differently?"

He shrugs, ashamed. It's a coward's answer. But he doesn't think he could argue with Richard about something like this.

"So, if he decides he's in love with you and wants to kiss you again, you would let him? Just because he wants to?"
