Against general advice, i’m giving final fantasy another go. I think I got up to the end of disc 1 on my 360 before it failed and i moist my save. that was over a decade ago. Even in my first 30 minutes of play i can see how annoyingly linear the game is (mechanically, i don’t mind non-open worlds, but there needs to be something to do in those hallways). The story is kind of really interesting. It’s very critical of the military and did a quiet unsettling and sympathetic depiction of the Resistance, so far. Like, it’s very violent more so than i’ve seen in other Final Fantasy games.
And i won’t be able to post my own screenshots here but will post ones from the internet. It’s beautiful and colorful. And there are some fun weapons. And so many guns hot damn!
