Origin

Darkness…that’s all I could feel… Just darkness and an empty void. Was I real? I couldn’t move…or feel a body… But I was thinking. I could feel emotions and I could feel myself as I thought of the void. I was…no, I am real.

As soon as I said that to myself, I could see a light. It was so faint…but it was there. A white light. I knew I couldn’t move, yet I struggled to anyways. Slowly, but surely, I started to inch my way to the light. It was so small, like a tiny orb. As if they just appeared, I used my hands to gently grab the light, holding it close. I could now see not just my hands, but my body. I was pink...at least partially pink. The light illuminated me in my entirety. It felt warm…especially when I placed it to my chest. When I did, said light turned a lighter version of my pink before splitting into two pieces.

I started to panic, trying to put it back together, before the half orbs began to morph and change. Change into weapons. I held them both in my hands. It was a perfect fit…like it was meant to be… I couldn’t help but smile. I had a purpose now.

That’s when I heard the music. It sounded odd, like someone was sneaking. Someone in my home? Not if I could help it. The feeling of the void was completely erased by the feeling of walls and floors forming. I was making this…I hid behind a newly formed pillar and waited. That’s when I spotted them.

Two beings, one cyan and the other orange. The orange one looked afraid and was sticking close to the cyan one. These were the intruders. I knew my purpose now! I rose onto the pillar, showing myself off. They were in complete shock. I smirked as the drop got close.

“Try this on for size, mister-“ BOOM. I fired, hitting the cyan one. This was going to be a fun fight!
