Do you remember the first time I tried that trick in all the movies where the hero grabs ahold of a rope and swings down from the mast of his ship to kick the bad guys in the face? You were the last to sign the brace on my leg and the first to call me an idiot for trying. You never thought I could pull it off, did you? Maybe if we had tried with an actual ship rather than a 5 foot plastic pole in a rowboat.. Heh. Your lusus must've hissed at you for hours for letting your moirail do something so stupid while you cheered him on.. But Ristis was asleep, and nobody else would spare the time of day to watch me make a fool of myself. I've been at sea for 45 days now, and I've done that trick at least thirteen times during raids. You'd be proud, I'm sure.

To my favorite icepop; The waters are cold out tonight. You'd absolutely hate it here! ..Though we have spare blankets in the cargohold, most have gone to make a comfortable fort for Ristis, and the remaining are being fought over by the crew.. Silly bastards. If you were here, we wouldn't have enough spares in the world to keep your giant fins snuggly warm!

To a much needed doctor,
I'll be on my way hive soon, Fighting with the crew has gone too far this time and theres more injuries than alive men. Had to throw a couple overboard myself, and I'm sure I'll have quite a few nasty scars once these wounds heal up. I've also remembered that I'm shit at sewing! Who would've thought. Probably should've taken your advice sweeps ago when you tried to teach me to care for myself.. But I figured you'd always be around to tend to my stupidity. Hah.
We'll stop by your place soon as possible. Hopefully with a full cargohold of stolen Oreos.
