Just so I can make myself clear to people who saw my Jacksepticeye post:

Being critical of what you consume is not a bad thing. It’s important! It helps develop you as a person!

And more importantly:

You can be critical of something and still enjoy it.

They aren’t mutually exclusive! Tumblr is a shitshow of an app, doesn’t work well, and it tends to become a bunch of echo chambers! That doesn’t mean I don’t love using this app and interacting with people here!

I don’t watch a whole lot of Jacksepticeye videos, but I am subbed and I do like what I watch! But I do keep in mind that not everything is good! It’s important to be mindful.

Dude, criticism and all in the tags is really not an issue, but asking to avoid the main tags because some people get angry over a title in a jack's video who simply explains what he's saing IN the video...That's too much. Only because the coronavirus is a thing NOW, and some are panicking over it, that doesn't means people cannot say "I was sick" in a video. All he said is that he was scared AND sick. Critics for once, need to chill.

I didn't say avoid main tags you brain-dead I said avoid tags and people who are critical of Sean so like JSEcrit tag, once again Sean's fandom has STELLAR reading comprehension. I'm not even gonna address the rest of this eat rocks.

Uhh..Thanks for the "brain dead" compliment man. But what I was trying to say is that it's absurd for people (crits and not) avoid the tags because of a BS like this...It shouldn't be an issue AT ALL. English is not my main language man..Maybe I expressed myself badly..

You're still missing the point of my post. I'm not going to apologize because I had no way of knowing English is not your first language cuz you are anonymous and you did not express that - what I am saying is avoid the tags that are on critical posts like #jse crit and the like. Also the rest of your ask was still a ridiculous sentiment regardless of your first language

i haven’t watched the video, i’m not subbed to sean and i have no intention of watching it so i don’t have the best grasp of the specifics

BUT the game is disgusting and more harmful than any silly little gaming video has any right to be. sean is an adult. he has eyes. he can read. he’s ignorant of a lot of lgbt issues but that’s no excuse for not identifying the most basic and simple of harmful stereotypes. he shouldn’t have uploaded the video, to his audience of millions, many of which are impressionable minors. this ISN’T a difficult concept to understand. sean’s job is a gaming youtuber: any game that he uploads a video of is, at least on some level, endorsed and advertised by him. yes, even if he doesn’t tell the viewer they should definitely play and support the devs. damn, even if he trashes a game beyond belief, just uploading a video gives it promotion and a platform.

it’s 2020 and he’s an adult.
