So, fun fact about the Echo conversation from yesterday’s stream:

The camera glitch that happens when they tell Chase their name? The one with the little silhouette shape thing? Yeah, that wasn’t Echo doing that glitch. 

That was IRIS redacting their information from the video feed.

Haven’t seen this anywhere but when chase is talking to echo the camera that we’re watching this all through kind of,,, blinks?

Like anytime echo is speaking and there’s a bunch of audio disturbance there’s a very distinct eye flutter around the edges of the screen, kinda like a person would do when they get a very sudden and painful headache.

Hypotheses on who the FUCK Echo could be

An ego who gave a false name to throw IRIS off their tracks

Someone pretending to befriend but ultimately using Chase

An actual ally who does want to help Chase

New IRIS oc: Justice!

They were hired on as an IRIS employee because of their background in psychiatry and neuroscience, meant to interview the patients who’d come in contact with ALTRs. With the added bonus of being blind, they’re unable to be affected by most visually-active anomalies.

They were eventually assigned to examine the fire of ‘36, and were sent back in time with the intention of observing the cataclysm and coming back with information. However, their sense of morality got the better of them. They tried to stop the fire from happening, but were unsuccessful- and wound up loosing most of the information they were sent to gather.

Now they’re on the hunt for anomalies, using IRIS tech to jump through time. With their wits, their heightened senses, and telepathy, they’re searching for answers!
