I love how Jack uses the impact he has on people in the community for good. It's really important these days for someone like him to advocate for mental health cause there's still that stigma. But that's getting a little better each day cause of him and this community. 💚💚💚

I always appreciate when Seán sees my ridiculous little messages but this... I needed to hear this more than anything. I’ve been having a bit of an existential crisis as of late, with a lot of it based around my age and how little I’ve accomplished in my life. How this B O Y always seems to know the right things to say at exactly the right time...well, I’m sure I’ll never figure that out.

I really enjoy Jack's interaction with us. Not just on social media with him liking, reblogging, and replying to ppl but also those little "fourth wall breaks" in his videos, when he's very directly talking to the people at home. Like those moments when he's like "how are you?" "Are you okay? I hope so!" or when something happens in game like a jumpscare or a crash and Jack is all concerned like "are YOU okay?? You good?? Good!"

I remember vividly this moment in Uncharted 4 when Jack was pointing something out but realized we couldn't see it cause his facecam was in the way so he was like "hold on, wait a sec" and moved the camera angle and was like "look at that!". And this may been in Subnautica-not sure-but at one point he complimented the viewer's shirt or hair, can't remember which. Little things like that make me happy. 😊

Watching Subnautica Part 8

I started thinking about the future and zoning out, then I heard Seán ask:

"Are you with me?"

While staring at the camera.

That snapped me out of it lol

That ending part of the stream where Jack pretended to act egotistical-even tho it was obvious he didn't mean that stuff-just hearing those type of phrases coming from Jack's mouth made my skin crawl. My brain was immediately giving off alarm bells like "NOT JACK! NOT JACK! THIS FEELS WRONG!!"

I'm so relieved and happy Jack is SOOO not like that.

Sometimes I think:

"It's crazy that Jack cares about us so much regardless whether he knows us personally or not..."

I'm really grateful for that though. Especially since so many of us don't see or struggle to remember our own worth as a person. Cause having family and friends say they care is awesome. It really is. But sometimes there's a little doubt, that their personal view of you maybe blinds them to how [insert negative adjective(s) here] we are. So when someone who doesn't know everything about you genuinely expresses how important you are, it can feel good. At least, it does to me.

One of these days (sooner if anyone is interested), I will post the entire story of my initial meeting with Seán at his PAX East signing in 2017, all the way up to current interactions, (whenever that happens to be). Complete with photos and videos to break up the wall of text.

I’m not much of an artist, (though I’m only recently delving into the art of gifs and video clips), but I’ve been told I have a way with words.

I’ve also been told that sharing my stories comes off as bragging, but I found that, when putting them all together it seems a lot more like a cohesive story and I had one person tell me it was inspiring?

So... idk
