JumpStartJune16 Picture Challenge -- What Makes you Unique? 

So, I’ve been thinking about this question for a while, and I keep coming back to the same answer: Nothing and everything. 

There is no one thing about me that makes me unique -- I’m sure that my qualities and quirks are shared by many people the world over.  On the other hand, we are ALL unique in the way that our qualities and quirks are put together within us, how we use them, and how we present them to the world.

It’s really hard to take a picture of nothing and everything, tho. :/

So, to back away from the existential black-hole that this question began to create for me, I finally settled on something that is probably a little unusual, if not really unique:

I am both a beach bum and a country girl. I love them both. I am blessed to have the chance to spend time in both places every week.  I guess doing headstands in both adds to the uniqueness a bit. :)

Also, I still have a baby (primary) tooth. Every time I go to a new dentist or hygienist, they comment on it. 50+ years and still hanging in there!

Trying some more handstand practice for the 'get out of your comfort zone" picture for Jumpstartjune. This is hard and scary, but maybe if I keep at it is will get better and less afraid of dying. 😨

JumpStartJune16 Picture Challenge -- A coffee or Tea Selfie.

My favorite place to chill a bit and enjoy some afternoon tea (bullet-proof, of course) before heading out to Jazzercise.  Also -- my favorite tea and my favorite mug!

Anybody wanna bang?! I know I do after that workout! Also- does anybody agree with me that Peter Quill would drink this Star Blast flavour?? Got up at 5:05am (thank you, snooze button. And thank you @rhettandlink for singing The SETI song that is my alarm every morning 😜), headed straight to the gym and knocked the above workout...out? Now gotta hurry up and shower, change and drive back and forth to Dallas!!! Probably listen to more Rhett and Link on the way there 😍

🔥Jumpstart June 2016🔥 Favourite place at home to workout! This is it! It's a bit of a mess thanks to my little beasties, but I love this area and am thankful for the stuff we have to work with at home!!! This is also where I kicked yesterday's second workout in the ass!!! 💪🏻😜

JumpStartJune16 Picture Challenge : Favorite place in your home to workout

So, I actually have three places where I workout, depending on the time of day and what I’m doing:

The top is in my ‘Florida Room’ (back porch to the rest of the world). I have a yoga mat that stays there all the time and you’ve seen many yoga poses and headstands from that spot.  I also have my Swiss ball out here and do pike-ups and situps on it out there. 

The next is actually a spare room in the garage which I turned into an ‘official’ workout room.  It has a bosu ball, mats on the floor, weights, a step, a DVD player/TV, a stereo, and mirrors along one wall for checking form. This is the first place I tried headstands, and will probably be the first place I try a handstand, although I’m a little worried about falling against those cabinets, and I can’t move away from them for the headstand cos of the window. 

The last is my living room in front of the TV. I stretch here a lot at night while watching TV, this is me working on my quad stretches and also foam rolling my IT band. You can see I also have weights in here -- a kettle bell and dumbbells which stay there all the time. When my knee was hurt, I worked upper body and core here A LOT, but now I just do that when I’m feeling especially energetic. :)

Hiya everyone! I AM SO PUMPED ABOUT TODAY'S WORKOUT! I FEEL SO STRONG! The screencap is from today's SECOND workout! This morning at 5:30am I did a vV02 workout in the pool (1min freestyle at 90% of my vV02 Max with 1min rest inbetween for 10 sets of 50m). This second workout that is screencapped above, I had the best form I've ever had on these lifts and I deadlifted what use to be my 1rep Max SIX TIMES!!! WHAT?! Also, romance level 10 = the manbeast running over while I'm in clean position to chalk my thighs for me. ☺️

✨Jumpstart June 2016 + Radical Self Love✨ 💗The Google doc spreadsheet screencap is of our first workout for today. The second workout is gonna be Plyo/Balance. We'll see how that goes. I FOUND MY GOGGLES! I WAS SO HAPPY! 💗I got some new stickers for my RSL Journal while at Comicpalooza and I love them so much! Look at that cute little She-Hulk! 💗I love looking through my journal and seeing the awesome quotes @fatgirlgetsfitatlast sent me. They help so much. 💞 Got some Keto stuff setting in the fridge to show ya'll later. Maybe some other stuff too 😉 I hope you are all doing groovy!!!
