so i watched reply 1997 over the weekend and omfggggggggg it was so flipping good.
i watched 8 episodes in a row saturday and the other 8 yesterday and what a marathon i had lmao. it's been a while since i last watched so much all at once. sleep was lost.
anyways, i thought it was PHENOMENAL. of course, there were some plot holes and eunji's character, shi won had some flaws that annoyed me, etc, but shi won's still one of my favorite female leads hahahaha. this was still by far one of the best dramas ever, and not cliche at all. aND OF coURSE seo in guk's yoon jae... JGLKJDLGKJSDG i'm totally in love with him okay. he's awesome. jfslkdjglkdjg and the love triangle was also very interesting. i liked the style that the drama was filmed in, with like flashback style (even flashback of flashbacks lol), and the story line was just sO. VERY. GOOd. all the characters, their relationships... just awesome. anD HOYAAAAAAA who played joon hee oh sweetie babycakes... i loved his character sO MUCH HHH UGHGHHGHGDKLgSJdg sobs
and the humour too, i mean.... i was like.... it was fucking funny okay. lol. goat bleating sound effects were the freaking best. and one of my favorite things of the whole drama were their busan accents. it's been going through my head for the like the past few days, the way they talk. it's amazing XD
OH YEAH i have to mention the music. it's amazing. i think you'll get a nice bit of education on early kpop culture, and a healthy dose of it too. i think it's just so good for kpop fans. and shi won is so relatable because she's an extreme fangirl and that's a part of the storyline, and most of the time i was like "OMFG tHAT'S ME HAHAHAHA I DO THAT SHE'S MEEE". it's amazing
SO YEAH. IN CONCLUSION. you should all go watch it now, I RECOMMEND IT TO E V E R Y O N E. it's soososososososososo good i guarantee it's a fantastic watch. and it take it from me okay, bc it's so freaking hard for me to get into a drama and this was just amazing. i was hooked from the first episode.
