JSON AJAX REQUEST FROM PHONEGAP

I am building a phonegap app for droid and iphone I created a json ajax request in the phonegap html file to call upon a php script from my website that pulls information from my database.

I had a limit set to limit how much information is brought back and anything over 5 it wont go through. Its almost like there is a limit on how much data or how much i can request? I am pulling my hair out…
