The 24th annual Journey to the North Pole™ Event was a huge success this past holiday season. From our loyal customers, business supporters, and our dedicated volunteers, we could not be happier with the outcome of this beloved fundraiser so we want to thank you as much as we can! First of all, we need to thank all of our customers. This event would not even occur if it was not for the families that come back and visit the North Pole year after year, creating long-lasting family traditions and those who joined us for the first time. This year, we met a few families that have been traveling to the North Pole for over 12 years along with families who came when the parents were children and are now bringing their own children. This fundraiser is made for all families and values the tradition you have made this wonderful event to be. Secondly, we have to also thank all of our business supporters. From the railroad stations, to the local shops in the area, to the small inns and B&B’s, to the large resorts that all play a part in our customers’ experience, thank you! Thank you for taking the time to help out all of the wide-eyed children and their families throughout the course of this event. Our communities in both North Conway and Lincoln welcomed our guests and we are so truly lucky to provide Journey to the North Pole™ out of both sides of the White Mountains. Thirdly, there are the countless volunteers who showed up night in and night out to make this event so remarkable. From the volunteers in North Conway to everyone who volunteered in Lincoln, this event would not have been possible had our dedicated volunteers not played their part. Volunteers at both locations worked as elves at Santa’s Workshop, magical train chefs, and greeters at the train stations. We are truly grateful for each and every person who volunteered at either location! Finally, we have to give a special thank you to each and every one of you who believe in the magic. Without the magic that the holiday season brings, there would not be a reason to have this incredible event go on. Each year, the Journey to the North Pole™ Event gets bigger and bigger because of families, business owners, volunteers, and believers like you.
