More silly Jemima the Teenage Warlock AU designs !! Jem’s weird, gay uncles Tugger and Mistoffelees. She hasn’t seen them in a few years, and her parents won’t tell her why.

“Four fucking years and you were too much of a bastard to apologise, why the fuck are you here now?”

To be fair on Munk, he did try calling, but Tugger has his number blocked.

Ehehe … women … and Alonzo … It’s Demeter’s best friend since nappies, and Jem’s pseudo-aunt, Bombalurina! Alonzo, who’s Munkustrap’s childhood friend, and Jem’s pseudo-uncle! And also Cassandra, Alonzo’s not-girlfriend who he met on Tinder.

This here is set just after Demeter comes back into Munk’s life, and her first reunion with Alonzo! He looks very different from the nerdy high schooler she last knew! He’s started going to the gym regularly. He’s still a nerd, though. He also used to cover his vitiligo because he hated standing out, but he doesn’t give a shit about that anymore.

Ehe I found my old references for my Jemima the Teenage Warlock AU !!! I didn’t like their human designs tho, so I redesigned them anyway. I guess these are just human AU but if you’re interested in the actual silly magic AU I’ve put some stuff under the cut!!

It’s obviously named after Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but this AU doesn’t have much to do with the show lore wise, I think I just thought it was funny.

In the context of this AU, Warlock = half-demon.

When fourteen year old Jemima starts noticing strange things happening around her, she tries to keep it to herself. Eventually, though, her parents find out about what’s been going on. Despite Jemima’s awe at her developing abilities, the revelation has forced her parents to confront something they’d hoped never to have to: the heritage they hadn’t wanted her to be burdened with.

Although her magic-averse father, Munkustrap, and her concerned mother, Demeter, try to handle her growing magic as best they can, it becomes clear they need help. Which is how Munk ends up on his estranged younger brother’s doorstep, asking for help from his partner, who was the reason for their relationship severing argument four years ago.

IIIII’m not sure if I’ll do any more with this AU. Maybeee!! Idk maybe I’ll just let people ask questions and develop it that way like I have before haha

Of course I’m obsessed with the swings/production exclusive ensemble characters, so you know I had to include them in the Warlock AU somehow! So here’s some other students who go to Jem’s school!

Olivia and Noilly are sisters, they transfer from Australia part way through the school year.

Etal is Gothenburg probably-Etcetera, bc I’m very attached to her design. Her name means basically the same thing as Etcetera!

Grumbuskin and Gilbert are twins.

I was gonna do something plot relevant for this lil 4koma, but I couldn’t think of the dialogue, so I decided to go complete joke route. Jem’s friends finally meet her uncle Tugger.

what does misto and tuger think of eachother and how did tugger discover hes a warlock and how did he react? and how did misto react to him finding out

Misto and Tugger are in loveee!! As of the present day of the AU, they’ve been in a relationship for seven-ish years! I don’t have the when or how of it set in stone yet, but it wasn’t long into their relationship that Tugger found out. He was never as reactionarily staunchly against magic as Munkustrap, but he still probably had to take a bit of time to get used to the idea of letting another magic user into his life. Of course he made sure to reassure Misto that Tugger’s misgivings weren’t his fault! And Misto had probably been worried about the inevitable revelation, but it would have been relieving to finally have that secret of his chest!

How did misto and tugger meet? and also munk and demeter?

Munkustrap and Demeter met when they were around 11 and 12, when they started at the same high school, and became pretty close during that time, although they never got together during high school.

And Mistoffelees and Tugger met in university! They had one class together, and didn’t really interact until towards the end of their first semester, when Tugger decided he was interested in Misto because Misto didn’t seem interested in him.
