5) Well, at least Jane is telling her mom about her feelings for Rafael, right? Although Michael is the one she should be talking about it with.
6) Does Rafael have a fucking halo? What?
7) So, Rafael saw Luisa pulling the fire alarm… but he didn’t see what room she got out of? Or who left the same room two minutes later? Hmmm. If he was watching that tape, he had to go back and forward to check what she was doing, especially if he suspected she was on a bender...
8) “Look, honestly, you've been great. The way you seem to care about my sister Well, it's way more than my other stepmothers did.” You got that right…

ROGELIO’S MANAGER/EX-WIFE: My bracelet. It must have fallen off when I was packing last week's gift baskets.
XIOMARA: Listen, this is a personalized gift from Rogelio. See? Xo. My name.
ROGELIO’S MANAGER/EX-WIFE: That's a "X"and a "O." Like a kiss and a hug? Honey, he gave that to me last year.
Which means that the narrator doesn’t know everything or is not letting us in on everything that he does know…
11) Petra claims she isn’t the murderer and he believes her based on… what, exactly? And where was she? She must’ve been doing something either super shady or super embarrassing.
12) I just love Rogelio, okay?
13) She’s gonna fall into the pool, trying to get away from Rafael.
14) Duh!
15) Oohh.
That was an interesting development.
Of course, Captain Cardboard had to show up and ruin it.
16) Well, at least he has some pride…
MICHAEL: But if you have feelings for another guy I don't think we should be getting married.
17) “He gave me a very special hug!” That’s one way to put it.
18) What did Jane write? I really hope we get to read it!
19) So, is this why Rafael got interested in Petra in the first place?
Because he wanted to get back at his father’s right-hand man? So he “stole” his girlfriend? He was a real douche-bag “before.” Did he ever love her, though?
20) This is very sweet…
ROGELIO: Xiomara, you’re very special to me. You’re the mother of my only child… that I know of.
21) “I don’t want her to hate me.” I understand Xiomara’s fear, but at the same, she should give Jane a little bit more credit. I really don’t think Jane will hate her. She’ll probably get pissed, and demand an explanation. She will most certainly be heartbroken. But she would never hate her mother.

Halo’s gone ☹
But I understand why the halo needs to be gone. This was purely an infatuation, a fantasy. The show would be underestimating the viewers if it was just insta-love. When or if they get together, it needs to feel earned.
24) So the bell boy had something to do with Zaz’s murder? Or was it Petra’s mom using the cart as a make-shift wheelchair? I don’t know why I keep thinking it must’ve been Petra’s mom hahaha!
25) I love him!
Yes, he’s kind of a creep and a doofus, but he’s so determined to get to know his daughter and be a part of her life. Yes, it did take him 16 months to find Xiomara after she told him the news, but I don’t blame him. And now he’s a man on a mission.
26) Oh, damn! He outplayed her!
RAFAEL: But it's a brilliant strategy. To make someone think that you're allies until you get what you want. I mean… So, how long were you sleeping with Zaz, anyway?
PETRA: What?!
RAFAEL: We're done, Petra. But thank you for helping with Lachlan.
27) So, Michael finally admitted that he’s actually more afraid of losing Jane than of raising someone else’s baby. Does this mean that he will stop protecting Petra? I mean, she knows that he tampered with evidence, so she still has that against him.
28) So, Petra is actually Natalia… and what is she paying this dude for? Why did she say that she almost got charged with murder because of him?
29) Oh, Jane…
I am glad they didn’t put off her finding out about Rogelio’s real identity, though. And I’m very excited to see how they interact now that she knows he’s her dad. I think she’ll have a great influence on him, make him more grounded and down-to-earth, and less self-absorbed. But hopefully, he won’t change that much because I think he is the funniest character in the show.
30) What a great book-end scene…
I love that even though it was his dream, the fantasy was pretty much the same, Rafael going down on Jane. Kudos, Rafael, you know the way to a lady’s heart. Or parts.
And can we really blame him for fantasizing about her after reading the letter? Damn, I want to read that letter!
Does this mean Jane will get the halo now?
31) A very fun episode that moved most of the plot points forward and opened up new questions. I like that the show doesn’t rely too much on - or rather for two long - characters keeping information to themselves instead of communicating. I mean, the communicating part definitely makes for much interesting interactions, right?
