Now that I've had some down time... TELEVISION TIME

I binged all of a Japanese dating show called offline love and it was so cozy and wholesome I refuse to believe it was scripted lol. Refreshing dating show where I rooted for all the main couples and the problematic men stayed single. I really loved the panelists too!!

Just started had I not seen the sun, which has a lot of the same production team as someday or one day, which is my #1 drama of all time and LOL I know I'm going to be feeling so much pain but here we go anyway

I never connected with the Jane the Virgin fanbase because of how supportive I am of the female characters

Once I finished the show years ago, I was shocked to see how judgy everyone was of the Villanuevas but praised the shit out of Petra (who is also my favorite character I loved her but she was an actual menace by herself sometimes) and loved Rafael. RAFAEL.

I mean, I didn't really looove any of the love interests in the show.

I fell out of love with Jane's dad HARD and couldn't stand him by the end, the grandpa in law was a bit fucked up, Michael was assasinated in the worst traumatizing way possible, the guy from Teen Wolf kinda sucked, Petra's girlfriend was unlikeable and I never got to trust her, and Rafael regressed and became one of the most awful boyfriends and baby daddies in the history of TV for me.

The way the show tries to gaslight you in order to believe Jane was in the wrong and that she is a bad mom and can't make up her mind when all he does is judge her and whine nonstop is INSANE to me and many girls watching FELL FOR IT fuck this show and part of its fandom forever
