A memory~ I remember the day we found out David Bowie had died, I was visiting in Seattle, and my buddy David Faustus and I were about the go out for breakfast. He had just finished work on night shift and I had just woken up and his cat had just sneezed(probably). Before we went, as we were getting ready, he noticed something on his phone but wouldn't tell me what it was. I found out over breakfast. Bowie was gone. Afterward we went to the local record shop we like on Capitol Hill. A number of people already had collected there, to discuss their memories. We both bought some of his records and chatted with people there.One of the girls had made a memorial wall for him with amazing drawings. I hadn't been so devastated by a death of a musician as I was by his.. I spent the night working on art for him. It's hard to say, but I think I felt and still feel closer to him and how he expressed than others. Perhaps he echoed so well how I felt on this earth perhaps.. Perhaps a little alien..
