Ju88C-4 of Oberleutnant Günter Radusch from 4/NJG2. Gilze-Rijen Air Base, autumn 1941. Günter Radusch rose to the rank of Oberst and scored 64 victories. He was awarded the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves. After the war, he served in the Bundesluftwaffe.

Oberleutnant Heinz Recker's Ju 88C-4b from 2/NJG2. Catania Air Base, Sicily. Heinz Recker claimed 63 victories. While fighting in the Mediterranean theater, he became renowned not only as a night fighter but also as a night dive bomber.
He was awarded the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves
