Alan is such a complex character. You just love to hate him from the way he seethes at Jim and clings uselessly to something long gone, but his frustration and sadness from the loss of his love is so real. The way he’s still considerate of Wen despite the bitterness clogging his airways, and the way he wants so badly for their broken relationship to prevail is just. So tragic
Alan’s text said my bank account isn’t the only thing that’s fat <3
Mum said where’s the fucking applause lmaooo
The way that Kan and Thua have to ignore each other when they sit together to study. They’re so close yet so far, unable to push boundaries or even dare to peek at each other when one pretends to sleep to stay next to the other.
Then the way Akk is invited to Ayan’s house and they end up studying next to each other too, with one falling asleep also. But the other leans into it completely. And when Akk wakes up and their eyes meet, he doesn’t immediately recoil. Instead they stare and start seeing each other and another crack forms in Akk’s defences.
If I have to hear this ronghao bastard toot his flute one more time I’m gonna commit crimes
Episode 10 was so melancholy, I love its composition. I love that we got to see Nueng miss and reminisce and ache for Palm. The peek into their lives when they were just themselves and in love were so precious, and heartrending when we cut back to the lonely life that Nueng was trying to carve out of the absence of his loved ones. And then, there’s Palm. Who would chase his heart wherever he’s gone, even if Nueng tries to leave him behind.
