fighter: What's your muse's fighting style? Are there any weapons your muse is comfortable with, or a weapon they'd like to learn to use? What drives them to fight?

Malice - ici!

Judas - his fighting style can be described best as precise and deadly. He's very well trained and is aware he has the constitution of a wet paper towel, so he has to be faster and dirtier than his opponent because he knows he can't win an up-close strength contest. He's doing dope rogue shit like dashing about, striking where it hurts most and then vanishing into the shadows. He's a knives guy, and mostly only fights out of survival. He kind of believes if a situation evolves into a fight, he's fucked up big time.

cleric: Does your muse believe in any god or follow any religion? What drives their faith? Or, if they're faithless, why? What would it take for them to find faith in something or someone?

Malice - he believes in gods in like a very loose sense, like they're out there granting people powers n shit, and he's not one to invalidate someone else's relationship to a higher power - he knows from experience there are those out there. But the available gods just aren't for him. They can't help him. He stopped asking a while ago.

Judas - he's quite agnostic and thinks the gods' powers are exaggerated. If gods really cared that much, there wouldn't be so much rampant evil in the world. He's bitter and thinks he could be just as good as a god if he put his mind to it. He does however have a lot of faith in his friends, to the point of detrimental loyalty (which could be construed as worship....).

barbarian: What makes your muse angry? How do they manage their anger? Has their rage ever led them to destroy something important?

Malice - oh boy a lot. He has a very short fuse - insults that hit a little too close to home, when people are obviously lying to him, if/when people threaten his autonomy, or when people bring up his past. He doesn't do a lot to manage it, but what he finds helps is working out/exercising regularly and staying sober, as well as trying to not take anything too seriously. He has destroyed things in a rage - he killed his own father and ruined his own life oops (his da deserved it though).

Judas - it takes a lot to get Judas truly, truly angry. It takes very little to irritate him, sure, he's got a scathing side-eye, but that irritation isn't deep and doesn't last. Give him a cig and he'll be fine again. To get him truly angry would take a lot of compacted incidents and repeat offenses over time, and once pushed to breaking, he's nasty as fuck. He'll use things told in confidence against you, spin things in his favour, and if he was hurt enough, he'll go out of his way to ruin your life. He mostly manages his anger with cigarettes and ignoring it.

1. Are there any names they like to be called in bed/names they call their partner? Any names they wouldn’t use/can’t stand?

Judas - he’ll call a partner all manner of nasty things, it’s really up to the partner to be honest. He doesn’t have much of a preference of what a partner calls him, although he doesn’t love hearing his own name? It reminds him he exists outside of his own head and that lowkey takes him out of the moment. His nickname Weaver is fine, and while he hasn’t tried it, wouldn’t be opposed to being called daddy.

6. Any place they absolutely would not have sex?

Judas - oh gosh anywhere there’s a chance of spiders, so most outside places (a dark alley’s doable tho) or cellars. Most public places would be out, on account of he doesn’t want to get caught and have to explain himself (again, an alley’s doable for whatever reason). He’d really prefer a private room with a bed and a locking door.

15. Describe their favorite sexual encounter.

Cassiopeia - ooohhh probably with an ex girlfriend, a vampire lord’s ward. It would have been during a high-tension period of her adventure, so emotions were already high. It was deeply passionate and romantic enough to be deemed holy. Cass loves to worship a lady, devotion bordering on possession. A bit frantic, a bit messy, but over all an outpouring of love and desire and heat and hope.

22. Favorite thing/part about sex—intimacy, role-playing, etc.

Cassiopeia - the intimacy, for sure. She likes to romance, she likes to court, and she’s a paladin so of course she’s good with her hands and eager to get on her knees in prayer. She likes the closeness and making her partner feel as good as possible.

😭 CRYING - what makes them cry? do they cry easily?

Judas - he does not cry easily, no, and very rarely. He’d have to already be very tired and stretched thin, and the trigger would have to be something very serious and impactful to get him to break. He thinks any kind of emotional display is beneath him, so if he was to cry, it would ideally not be in front of anyone.

Salt - they cry quite easily! They get weepy when they’re sad, and will sometimes angry-cry. They’re quite in tune with their emotions and are at a point in their life where they can’t deny them anymore, so Salt will just let themself cry if that’s what their body needs. For a while there, even just genuine kindness shown to them would make them cry.

🍧 SHAVED ICE - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?

Judas - he grew up destitute so he didn’t have much of anything. He’s not very materialistic, so I doubt he would have kept what he had. His memory is very, very good though so he remembers most of his childhood and would be furious if anyone tried to tamper with those memories.

Salt - yes, they have their original druidic focus from when they were a kid, and 2 or so books. They’ve carried them around with them for over 10 years. It’s a reminder of who they are and where they came from. They would be really, really sad and angry at themself if they lost them, and if they lost the focus, they’d have to go back to using components and they don’t have time for that.

🕷️ SPIDER - what is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

Judas - coincidentally, he’s terrified of spiders. This started as a bit during the campaign but has evolved to be an endearing part of him. He’s an assassin and a stone-cold bitch but if there’s a lil spider in his vicinity, he’s getting someone else to deal with it or possibly just burning down the building. He’s also terrified of his loved ones dying and being left completely alone (again).

Salt - they’re a bit irrationally scared of fire, but having a sword that makes them fire resistant helps. They are quite a bit afraid of the mortifying ordeal of being known, and they’re scared of everyone they care about leaving them if they fail at anything or disappoint in any way.

🪤 MOUSE TRAP - what will always lure them into certain danger? a loved one in danger? a promise of something they are always searching for?

Judas - it doesn’t take much to lure him into a dangerous situation. He might have even caused it himself, since he does kind of cause problems on purpose (for enrichment). He will always go headlong into danger to protect a loved one, not really caring about his own safety if their life is on the line. He’s searching for stability in his own way, and will go to very dangerous lengths to try to secure it. He hasn’t been successful in finding that stability though, mostly just collecting scars instead.

Salt - they have some thrill-seeking tendencies and are convinced they can’t be killed because they’ve already died and been revived once, so honestly the thrill of adventure would do the trick. Mostly, they’ll go into danger to uphold their oath to protect the freedoms of the waves and maybe to even find some peace within themself. They’ll also go anywhere their friends want - although we’re currently at a crossroads there.

Oooh thank you!! I think I’ll go for judas, sabetha & cassiopeia since I don’t talk about them often - under the cut because it got long 😅

🛏️ What does your OC’s bed look like? What would they like their bed to look like?

Judas: bigger than a twin but smaller than a double, and like very precisely made up. Not a blanket untucked. It looks unused, except for maybe an indent in the pillow. No stuffed animals or anything colourful or what he considers to be gratuitous. I genuinely don’t think he’s considered what he’d want instead of that, except for maybe slightly bigger.

Sabetha: it’s pretty big and luxurious and never made up. She’s got a plush feather duvet and a nice quilt - she loves to be cozy and nest. Lots of feather pillows. She also has an old crocheted dog plushie that she cuddles with when she’s sad. Usually there’s a book or two in there with her.

Cassiopeia: sad story but she doesn’t have her own bed, since she travels a lot and doesn’t have a consistent place to make home. If she did, it would be very practical but she’d make sure the blankets were soft and warm, and that the pillows are plush.

🥪 On a scale from ‘burns water’ to ‘5 course menu’ how well can your OC cook?

Judas: 5 course menu! He’s a very skilled cook and enjoys cooking for people!

Sabetha: I want to say she’s average. She can follow a recipe to good success, but she’s not making her own adjustments to it. She doesn’t cook very often, usually having someone to do that for her.

Cassiopeia: she thinks she’s a better cook than she is. She never gets the timing right, often burning things on accident. It’s like edible, but bland at best, hockey puck at worst. She tries though, and isn’t hopeless!

🎨 Does your OC have any craft skill, as a hobby or profession? If so which?

Judas: unless you count cooking and baking as a craft skill, he doesn’t really have any. He knows a medium amount about lock-making, if that counts!

Sabetha: she grew up very secluded by her parents, and to keep her entertained, she was taught a whole variety of skills. She can play piano and clarinet, she can do calligraphy, she can sew and needlepoint. Kind of like. Old timey fancy lady skills.

Cassiopeia: the woman is practical to a fault, so her crafts skills come in the form of fixing armour, darning/sewing, maintaining weapons, some carpentry (but she has the lesbian audacity that leads her to believe she can craft anything if she tries hard enough)

🪤 What is one thing that could be used to lure your OC into a trap?

Judas: no joke, a PBR and a pack of darts (and a physical manifestation of messy gossip lmao)

Sabetha: a new book or historical artifact or boobs

Cassiopeia: a stiff drink, pretty perfumes, fancy magical sword, or yknow any basic kindness

🔪 What does your OC think how they’ll die? 

Judas: so he’s an assassin and a spy, so he thinks about it a lot. He just assumes and expects that he’s going to die young by assassination, execution, or falling off a roof or something

Sabetha: oh. Uh. Content warning, but she assumes by suicide. If not that, then a magical accident (she’s not very careful) or like illness.

Cassiopeia: in a fight, defending who and what she cares about. She expects it.
