He hadn’t wanted to believe Eva when she said he was back. Judas had spent the last week or so holed up with Chayton, stoned and, well, lacking the desire to see anyone else. His sister had rolled her eyes at him when he worded it that way, but he refused to give her any ammunition about his personal life. Not when he knew the way her and Jay got into it. No way was he wearing a damn tiara.

Still, he wasn’t thrilled to see his father standing there and it showed in the way he stared the man down, unblinking as he lit a cigarette and took a long drag.

“Look who finally decided we were worth a visit.”

No matter what anyone thought, Judas was a lot smarter than he often let on. He knew psychics had certain spots, areas that were sensitive, that triggered their abilities. The two most commons areas were hands and eyes and he was willing to bet Ara’s were her hands. 

He said nothing as he sat down in front of her, his movements fast as he gripped her hands tightly and focused. She could try to fight it, but he was willing to bet he could force her to see anything he felt like showing.
